Summer Challenge Day 4: Orange-Freestyle Day

I'm soooo late!!! I know!! :(
But I have a good excuse: I have been so busy finishing all the work I need to do for college that I've slept just 5 hours in TWO DAYS!!! I can't even keep my eyes open to see what I'm writting. But I'm catching up!, because today I will be posting three diferent Summer Challenge Manis!! This post is for May 25th: Orange Freestyle Day. And everyone loved so much the last dotted manicure that I've decided to use dots again.

Pero tengo una buena excusa: He estado tan ocupada con los trabajos que tenía que entregar en la facultad que he dormido solo 5 horas en DOS DÍAS!!! Ni siquiera puedo mantener los ojos abiertos para ver qué estoy escribiendo. Pero me voy a poner al día!, porque hoy voy a subir tres manicuras diferentes del Summer Challenge!! Este post es para la de el 25 de Mayo: Estilo libre en Naranja. Y como a todo el mundo le encantó la última manicura de puntos he decidido utilizar puntos otra vez.

I've been looking for the moment I could use a matte basecoat and a shiny design in the same colour for a long time. I just think it's interesting and subtle, It's perfect if you don't want the design to stand more than the colour.

For this manicure I used:

Base: Bourjois Orange Recreation nº42 topped with Essence Nail Art Special effect Soft Touch nº07

Dots: Bourjois Orange Recreation nº42

No Topcoat

Llevaba mucho tiempo queriendo hacer una manicura con base mate y diseño en brillante con el mismo color. Creo que es interesante y discreto, es perfecto si no quieres que el diseño le quite protagonismo al color.

Para esta manicura he usado:

Summer Challenge Day 3: Summer Dots

Hi Girls!
Wow! I have almost 50 amazing followers!! I never thought this moment would arrive. I am so excited because I have my first Giveaway prepared for this!! But we will talk about that when the moment comes.

Today is Summer Dots inspiration in the Summer Challenge. I didn't know what to do because I ordered my new dotting tools last week from ebay and I was waiting for them to come, but they didn't arrive on time so I had to use a bobby pin instead, this manicure is inspired on THIS that I found on Google Images. It's not perfect but it's colurful and this makes me happy when I look at it.

Wow! Ya casi tengo 50 increíbles lectores!! Nunca pensé que este momento llegaría. Estoy muy contenta porque tengo un concurso preparado para esto!! Pero ya hablaremos de ello cuando llegue el momento.

Hoy es el día de Summer Dots en el Summer Challenge. No sabía que hacer para esta manicura porque pedí mis nuevas dotting tools la semana pasada por ebay y estaba esperando a que me llegaran, pero no lo hicieron a tiempo, así que me he tenido que conformar con una horquilla del pelo, esta inspirada en ESTA manicura que encontre en las imagenes de Google. No está perfecta pero es colorida y eso me pone contenta cuando la miro. :)

In this manicure and the previous one I have used false nails because the designs I wanted to do looked better on long nails, but I have thought that amazing manicures can be done with short nails, and that could be a challenge to me while my nails grow, so I promise I won't be using more false nails on this challenge.

For this manicure I used:

Base: Deliplus nº32

French Tips: Bourjois Jaune trendy nº39 (Thumb), Deliplus nº64 (Index), Bourjois Lime Catwalk nº 38 (Middle finger), Claire's Mood Color Changing Polish Confident/Peaceful (Ring finger), Bourjois Orange creation nº42 (Pinkie)

En esta manicura y en la anterior he utilizado uñas postizas porque los diseños que quería hacer quedaban mejor en uñas largas, pero he pensado que se pueden hacer diseños increíbles en uñas cortas, y que eso podría ser un reto para mi mientras mis uñas crecen. Así que prometo no volver a utilizar uñas postizas en este reto.

Summer Challenge Day 2: Chelsea Flower Show

Hi! Welcome to the second day of the Summer Challenge!! Today is about the Chelsea Flower Show and of course I had to do a mani with flowers on it.

Hola! Bienvenidos al segundo día del Summer Challenge!! La manicura de hoy es sobre el Chelsea Flower Show y por supuesto mi mani tenía que tener flores.

This is my first time stamping with more than one colour and I think it looks pretty good.

For this manicure I used:

Base: Bourjois Lime Catwalk nº38

Stamp: BM-220, Easy Paris White nº48, Bourjois Orange Creation nº42

Leaves: Yes Love Magnetics nº9, Essence Colour & Go Choose Me! nº38

Top Coat: Seche Vite

MSMD Holographic Zebra

Today is Monday, and that means today we have a Monkey See Monkey Do manicure!
Today's manicure is inspired by the amazing Nailasaurus.
I couldn't make the holographic stamp properly, so I used grey instead.

No consegui que el holográfico estampara correctamente, así que he utilizado gris.

Sunday Challenge: Plate Ending in 5

Hi Girls!
Today is Sunday and in the Facebook group Adventures in Stamping they make a Challenge. This week's was making a manicure stamping with a plate ending in 5. I don't have a lot of plates ending in 5 so I chose BM-205.

Hola Chicas!
Hoy es Domingo y en el grupo de Facebook Adventures in Stamping se hace un Reto. El de esta semana es hacer una manicura estampando con una placa que acabe en 5. No tengo muchas placas que acaben en 5, así que he escogido la BM-205.

For this manicure I used:

Base: China Glaze Ingrid nº80506

Stamp and Gradient: BM-205 plate stamped with Sofia Kosmo Silver nº12

Top Coat: Seche Vite

Then I thought it would look great with a matte finish, so I applied Essence Soft Touch nº07.

Base: China Glaze Ingrid nº80506

Stamp and Gradient: BM-205 estampada con Sofia Kosmo Silver nº12

Top Coat: Seche Vite

Luego pensé que quedaría bien en mate, así que apliqué una capa de Essence Soft Touch nº07.

I really don't know which one I like most. Hope you enjoyed it!

Manicura estampado en granate

Siento mucho que no se me ocurran nombres fabulosos y originales para las manicuras pero ultimamente trabajo bastante tarde de noche en el blog y no encuentro mucha creatividad en los nombres...

Hoy os voy a adelantar esta manicura que es la que llevo esta semana aunque me queda atrasada la que llevaba la semana pasada, pero prefiero traeros algo un poco mas diferente, ya que he repetido los colores de las manicuras en dos semanas seguidas y mejor intercalamos esta para darnos un descanso de celestes jejeje...

Por fin os traigo una manicura que no esta hecha con la placa M57. Esta está hecha con la M21. Con la enredadera que veis señalada más abajo. Pero primero una fotillo de la manicura.

Como veis es una manicura francesa en granate con el estampado solo en la parte coloreada en blanco. Y aunque en esta foto no se aprecia lleva el top coat con purpurina. El esmalte granate es de Deliplus, el blanco es de Konad y la purpurina es de Essence. Mañana pondré las referencias exactas con los numeros.

Y por ultimo el estampado que he usado ha sido este:

Ha resultado ser una manicura muy discreta y ponible asi que seguro que repetire en un futuro. :)

Christmas Manicure

Yes, I know we are not in Christmas anymore... In fact, here it's summer, but I'm catching up with a few posts that I had done but never posted. And specially this one was made in Christmas but I forgot that I had done it.

It's my Christmas day's manicure!! I wanted to create something like snowflakes, I would have liked to make it in blue but I hadn't a light blue polish, so I used the brown/gold one. In the end they tured out more like stars.

Si, ya se que no estamos en Navidad... de hecho, aquí es verano, pero me estoy poniendo al dia con algunos posts que tenía hechos, pero que nunca los subí. Y especialmente este estaba preparado para Navidad, pero se me olvidó que lo había hecho. Es mi Manicura del Día de Navidad!! Quería hacer algo parecido a copos de nieve, me hubiera gustado hacerlos en azul, pero no tenía pintura de uñas azul claro, así que utilicé la marrón/dorada. Al final acabaron pareciendo estrellas.

I used a white kind of shimmering base, and did the stars with brown/gold polish and a toothpick. In the end I put a little of golden glitter polish on the stars and added a clear top coat.

Usé una base blanca perlada e hice las estrellas con el pintauñas dorado y un palillo de dientes. Al final puse un poco de purpurina dorada en las estrellas y cubrí con el brillo protector.
