BeautyFever #1

Hi Everyone!
Yesterday I went to a Beauty Event, here in Seville, the BeautyFever II. It was my first event of this kind and I had a great time! I met lots of amazing bloggers I didn't knew before and some other that I knew from the Esmaltofílicas Facebook Group, but it was the first time we have seen each other!
I am making a huge post with all the details about the event an lots of pictures but today I am here just to show you the manicure I did to go there.

Ayer asistí a un Evento de Belleza, aquí en Sevilla, el BeautyFever II.Ha sido mi primera vez en un evento de este tipo y me lo pasé genial! Conocí a un montón de bloggers increíbles que no conocía y a otras que ya conocía del Grupo de Facebook Esmaltofílicas pero que era la primera vez que nos veíamos en persona!
Estoy trabajando en un macro post con todos los detalles del evento y un millon de fotos, pero hoy solo estoy aquí para enseñaros la manicura que lleve.

I chose to do the logo of the BeautyFever event over a Holographic Purple Glitter Base. The base is Claire's Holo Purple Glitter (Swaches Here) and this time, because I didn't have Fuchsia acrylic paint I had to make tha design with nail polish Deliplus nº64 and finally added the letter "b" with black acrylic.



Escogí hacer el logo del BeautyFever sobre una Base de Glitter Holográfico Morado. La base es Claire's Holo Purple Glitter (Swaches Here) y esta vez, como no tengo pintura acrílica Fucsia, tuve que hacer el diseño con esmalte, Deliplus nº64 y finalmente añadir la letra "b" con acrílica negra.

To make the letter "F" I used a small dotting tool, and of course I used my PVA Glue base to make the removal easier, and it peeled very well without leaving any loose glitter, that is one of the problems of this polish (Yay!!)

Para hacer la letra "F" utilicé un dotting tool pequeño, y por supuesto usé mi Base de Cola Blanca para hacer la limpieza más simple, y se despegó perfectamente sin dejar glitters sueltos, que es uno de los problemas de este esmalte (Bien!!)

Halloween Challenge Day #6: Things that go Bump in the Night/ Esmaltofílicas, El Reto #4: Peli Favorita

I'm one day late on the Halloween Challenge. Yesterday it was Things that Go Bump in the Night (Monsters...) and I didn't know what to do until I remembered one of the Halloween manicures that I had pinned a few days before. This Manicure is so simple but yet so pretty!
Besides that, today is the "Favourite Movie" day on the Esmaltofílicas Challenge and coincidence? my favourie movie is Interview with the Vampire!

Voy un dia tarde con el Reto de Halloween. Ayer tocaba Cosas que Moran en la Noche (Monstruos...) y no sabía qué hacer hasta que recordé una de las manicuras que había pineado unos días antes. Esta manicura es tan simple pero aun asi bonita!

Además hoy es el día de Peli Favorita en el reto de Esmaltofílicas y coincidencia? mi peli favorita es Entrevista con el Vampiro!

I really love Interview with the Vampire, Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise are amazing! And really handsome ;)
To make this manicure I first painted a base of Deliplus nº58 and then made the dripping blood and the fangs with white acrylic. Finally I used the red acrylic on top and a red glitter topcoat because I don't have China Glaze Ruby Pumps as the blogger that made the original manicure, but I did have this Justy Cosmetics Glitter Topcoat that works really well.

Para hacer esta manicura primero pinté una base de Deliplus nº58 y luego hice la sangre chorreando y los colmillos con acrílico blanco. Al final utilicé acrílico rojo encima del blanco y un topcoat de glitter rojo porque no tengo el China Glaze Ruby Pumps como la blogger que hizo la manicura original, pero sí que tengo este Topcoat de Glitter Rojo de Justy Cosmetics que va genial.

Halloween Challenge #5: Freestyle Halloween

This is going to be a really quick post because It's very late and I need to sleep!!! I saw This Manicure from Robin Moses a few days ago and I knew I needed to try it for Halloween. This is my interpretation of her Googly Google Eyes.

Este va a ser un post realmente rápido porque es muy tarde y necesito dormir!!! Hace unos días vi Esta Manicura de Robin Moses y supe que necesitaba hacerla para Halloween. Esta es mi interpretación de sus Googly Google Eyes.

I bought the eyes at a Chinese store and they were the smallest they had (Still too big) so I freehanded most of them. Although it's a really simple manicure I am working on a tutorial that I hope you will find useful.

Compré los ojos en una tienda China y eran los más pequeños que tenían (Aun asi son demasiado grandes) así que hice la mayoría a mano. Aunque es una manicura muy simple estoy trabajando en un tutorial que espero que encontréis útil.

Esmaltofílicas, El Reto #3: Moda

Hi girls!
Few! I almost miss this entry, I thought I had to post the manicure inspired by "Fashion" tomorrow. I'm glad I checked it!
I chose my inspiration for this day on the Milan Fashion Week Spring Summer 2012. I don't use to watch these events because the clothes that are shown are not something that I would wear, that's why I challenged myself to find something that I actually liked, and I did!

Few! Casi se me pasa esta entrada, pensé que la manicura inspirada en Moda tenía que subirla mañana. Menos mal que lo comprobé!

Escogí mi inspiración para este día en la Pasarela de Milán Primavera Verano 2012. No suelo ver estos eventos porque la ropa que sale no me la pondría nunca, por eso me reté a mí misma a encontrar algo que realmente me gustara, y lo hice!

This beauty is a Alberta Ferretti design. I'm not sure if the beige lines are translucent, but I would like to think that they aren't because that way I could totally wear this dress. On the website where I found the image they say:

Certainly Ferretti's graceful body-skimming silk shifts, with their clean lines, make a positive change from bandage dresses. But are they flattering? Or put it another way, will Kate Winslet, numero uno champion of body-con, wear one? On initial evidence, I wouldn't put money on it. Sure, they're beautiful on the catwalk or Daisy Buchanan in The Great Gatsby but you have to be thin for this to look elegant.

I am not an expert but I couldn't disagree more. Just because a dress doesn't show half of your breasts or it isn't as tight as you are hardly able to breath is not a reason to not be flattering. And I don't think you need to be extremely thin be pretty with this dress. It's only my opinion.
But let's see the Nail Art!

Esta preciosidad es un diseño de Alberta Ferretti. No estoy segura de si las lineas beiges son transparentes o no, pero quiero pensar que no porque así seguro que me lo pondría. En la página donde encontré la imagen dicen:

Es verdad que los vestidos holgados de seda de Ferretti, con su línea simple, marcan un cambio positivo frente a los vestidos ajustados. ¿Pero son favorecedores? O diciéndolo de otra manera, ¿se lo pondría la campeona numero uno de la moda body-con (Moda con prendas muy ajustadas), Kate Winslet? Viendo lo evidente, yo no apostaría por ello. Si, son bonitos en la pasarela o para Dasy Buchanan en El Gran Gatsby pero hay que estar muy delgada para que este vestido quede elegante.

No soy una experta pero no puedo estar menos de acuerdo. Sólo porque un vestido no enseñe la mitad de tus pechos o no sea tan ajustado que no te deje casi respirar no es una razón para que no sea favorecedor. Y no creo que necesites estar extremadamente delgada para estar guapa con este vestido. Solo es mi opinión.

Pero vayamos al Nail Art!

As you can see I've reproduced the pattern on the dress onto my nails, and I just have to say that I LOVE IT! It looks elegant but pretty and totally a look that I would wear daily. The Coral color gives it a girly cute look that I adore.

Como podeis ver he reproducido el estampado del vestido en mis uñas, y solo puedo decir que ME ENCANTA! Es elegante pero bonito y un look que llevaría diariamente. El color Coral le da un toque suave que me gusta mucho.

I used Essence Gold Rush as my base and then freehanded the pattern with acrylics and a Nail Art brush. As you can see in the first picture I added a shiny topcoat, but I was missing the muted look of the matte acrylics and I decided to go with one coat of Essence Soft Touch Matte Topcoat (Which is one of the polishes of my Giveaway's price) and I loved it even more.

Como base he usado Essence Gold Rush y luego pinté el estampado con pinturas acrílicas y un pincel de Nail Art. Como podeis ver en la primera foto le añadí un topcoat brillante, pero echaba de menos el look apagado del mate de los acrílicos y decidí terminar con una capa de Essence Soft Touch Matte Topcoat (Que es uno de los esmaltes del premio de mi Sorteo) y asi me gustó incluso más.

Witches and Bats Tutorial

Hi Girls!
Do you remember the manicure I did a few day ago for the Halloween Challenge? I promised there were two tutorials coming and I've been working really hard to make them. I know some of you wanted a video tutorial but I really don't have the skills to make a video and edit it, so for the moment they have to be photo tutorials. So you can remember here it is the Halloween Challenge manicure: Witches!

¿ Recordáis la manicura que hice hace unos días para el Reto de Halloween? Prometí que había dos tutoriales que vendrían próximamente y he estado trabajando duro para hacerlos. Ya se que algunos me pedisteis video tutoriales, pero no tengo la habilidad necesaria para hacer un video y editarlo, así que de momento tendrán que ser foto tutoriales. Para que la recordéis os dejo la manicura del Reto de Halloween: Witches!

We are going to start with the bats, I made them in white because they would glow better with the glow in the dark topcoat, but you can do them in any colour you want. Just choose a base colour and another for the bats.

Vamos a empezar con los murciélagos, yo los pinté en blanco porque así brillarían más con el topcoat glow in the dark, pero vosotros los podeis hacer con el color que más os guste. Simplemente hay que escoger un color de base y otro para los murciélagos.

Easy right? I loved how they looked like winged eggs haha. I hope this tutorial help you to make your own bats. The witch has more details but if you go step by step you'll do fine!

Fácil ¿Verdad? Me encantó como parecían huevos con alitas jajaja. Espero que este tutorial os ayude a hacer vuestros propios murcielagos. La bruja tiene más detallitos, pero si vais paso a paso no endréis ningún problema.

Remember to look for the easy shapes, I usually when I try to draw something I just think one line here, one circle there... and finally all together is a witch, but I don't try to do a witch from the beginning  just one simple shape at a time. Another trick that really helps me is to draw with the picture I want to copy face down, that way I don't recognise the hole shape and I have to focus on one shape at a time as I said before. Recordad buscar las formas más sencillas, normalmente cuando intento dibujar algo simplemente pienso en una línea aquí, un circulo acá... y finalmente todo junto es una bruja, pero no intento dibujar una bruja desde el principio, sólo una forma sencilla cada vez. Otro truco que me ayuda mucho es dibujar con la imagen de la que estoy copiando boca abajo, así no reconozco la forma completa y me tengo que centrar en hacer un trocito cada vez como he dicho antes. Halloween Challenge #4: Witches

Hi everyone!
Quick post because it's really late here in Spain and I need to rest. Today I bring you another of the Halloween Challenge manicures, of course this is not as spectacular, creepy and gore as the Zombies manicure, but I like the colour combination.

Una pasada rápida por aquí que es super tarde (En España) y necesito descansar. Hoy os traigo otra de las manicuras de Reto de Halloween, por supuesto no es tan espectacular, asquerosilla ni gore como la de Zombies, pero me gusta la combinación de colores.

I know the theme was about witches and you can only see bats, but I have to say that I made the witch first and then... came the bat-inspiration. What can I do? Anyway I have read all you suggestions on the giveaway's comments and a lot of you said that you would like more tutorials, so a Witch and a Bats Tutorials are coming in case you want to reproduce this manicure.

Ya se que el tema eran las brujas y que lo único que podeis ver son murciélagos, pero tengo que decir que hice la bruja primero y luego... vino la bat-inspiración. Que le voy a hacer? De todas formas he estado leyendo todos los comentarios que me habeis dejado en el Sorteo y mucho decis que os gustaría ver más tutoriales, así que un tutorial de Bruja y otro de Murciélagos vendrán proximamente, en el caso de que querais reproducir esta manicura.

To make this manicure I used Acrilyc Paints for the drawings, Deliplus nº58 as the base for my ring finger and Easy Paris nº402 for all the other nails. The tiny black dots are a black glitter polish that I added after doing the bats, Easy Paris nº156.

Para hacer esta manicura he usado pinturas acrílicas para hacer los dibujos, Deliplus nº58 como base para el dedo anular y Easy Paris nº402 para todas las demás uñas. Los puntitos negros son un esmalte de glitter negro que añadí luego de hacer los murciélagos, Easy Paris nº156.

And finally the Glow in the Dark Topcoat Yes Love nº6. That's why I did the bats in white, because that way they will GLOW!!  I hope you liked it and don't forget to join my Giveaway!!!

Candy Corn Tutorial

Halloween Challenge #2: Black Cats

Happy Halloween!
This is the second manicure of the Halloween Challenge. The theme for today is Black cats and I did a design that I am loving so much that I am sure that I will do it with other colours.

Feliz Halloween!

Esta es la segunda manicura del Reto de Halloween. El tema de hoy es Gatos Negros y el diseño que he hecho me gusta tanto que estoy segura de que lo repetiré con diferentes colores.

I know it's not a really scary manicure for halloween but this cat looks so cute that I don't mind. I used H&M Miss Stoned Heart as the base and added the paws with black acrylic paint and a dotting tool. The cat is made with acrylic paint in black, grey and white.

Y se que no es una manicura que de mucho miedo para halloween pero el gatito es tan mono que no me importa. He usado H&M Miss Stoned Heart como base y añadí las patitas con pintura acrílica negra y dotting tools. El gato está hecho con pinturas acrílicas negra, gris y blancas.

Disney Challenge Day 30: Pocahontas

Hi Girls!
I promise I'm trying really hard to catch up with the Disney Challenge, but I'm still working on it. Today I bring you one of my favourite movies, Pocahontas. Pocahontas was another one of the Disney Princesses that I thought were different, and that's why I liked her so much.

Os prometo que estoy empleandome a fondo para ponerme al dia con el Reto Disney, pero estoy todavia trabaando en ello. Hoy os traigo otra de mis pelis favoritas, Pocahontas. Pocahontas era otra de las pricesas que pensaba que eran diferentes, por eso me gustaba tanto.

I had a hard time getting pictures of this manicure, I couldn't get a better picture because my camera wasn't showing the darkest shades and details, so in reality this manicure is way more spectacular. As the base I used Flormar U08 and sponged Essence Frozen Queen on top to give it a more clowdy or foggy look. Then I made Pocahontas and the leaves with acrylic paints.

He tenido problemas para sacar fotos de esta manicura. No pude sacar una mejor porque mi cámara no pillaba los detalles más oscuros y las sombras, así que en realidad esta manicura es bastante más espectacular. Para la base he usado Flormar U08 y le he dado con una esponja con Essence Frozen Queen para darle un toque más de niebla. Entonces añadí a Pocahontas y las hojas con pintura acrílica.

Halloween Challenge #1: Trick or Treat!

Hi!
It's been a while since I posted the last time... I had some disaster one right after another. One of them was my laptop suddenly diying, for no reason, and I had to buy another one, and I haven't even finished changing all the information to the new laptop. Well, I hope everything will be normal soon...

Today is the first day of the Crumpet's Halloween Challenge, at first I was hesitating about joining because you all know that I'm behind with the Disney Challenge and the Esmaltofílicas Challenge is about to start. But I decided that if I take it with pacience and NOT promising to do every manicure I think it will be fun, and I was dying to have an excuse to make Halloween Nails!

Hace ya un tiempo que actualicé por última vez... He estado teniendo catástrofes unas detrás de otras. Una de ellas fue la repentina muerte de mi ordenador, sin ninguna razón, y he tenido que comprarme otro y ni siquiera he podido terminar de pasar toda la información al portátil nuevo. Bueno, espero que todo vuelva a la normalidad pronto...

Hoy es el primer día del Reto de Halloween de Crumpet, al principio estuve dudando si unirme porque ya sabeis que voy atrasada con el de Disney y el Reto de Esmaltofílicas está a punto de empezar. Pero he decidido que si lo llevo con paciencia y NO prometiendo hacer cada manicura creo que será divertido, y me estaba muriendo de ganas de hacer una manicura de Halloween!

I've been putting so much effort on doing elaborated manicures for the Disney Challenge that I feel that I am needing more simple manicures. That's why I chose to do a plain base, with just one colour letters and you can't imagine how easy is to do the Candy Corn Pattern of the accent nail (A Tutorial is coming!)

Me he estado esforzando tanto en hacer manicuras elaboradas para el Reto Disney que siento que necesito hacer manicuras mas simples. Por eso he escogido un color plano de base, un único tono para las letras y no os imaginais lo fácil que es hacer el dibujo del accent nail (Tutorial Proximamente!)

I have used Deliplus nº58 for the base, Acrylic Paints for the Candy Corns and letters and finally added two coats of my new nail polish Easy Paris 607 Glow in the Dark. Amparo, fom El Tocador de Bella and I have made a swap recently and this is one of the babies she sent me. (A post is coming)

He utilizado el Deliplus 58 para la base, Pinturas Acrílicas para hacer el Candy Corn y las letras y para terminar añadí dos capas de mi nuevo esmalte Easy Paris 607 Glow in the Dark. Amparo de El Tocador de Bella y yo hemos hecho hace poco un swap y este es uno de mis bebés nuevos. (Próximamente un post)

Isn't amazing how it glows? I assume I didn't shaked well the bottle and that's why there are tiny little dots that glow more, or maybe that's how it works, I don't know, but I love it. And even inside the bottle is a yellow polish it applies absolutely clear.

¿No es increíble cómo brilla? Me imagino que no agité bien el bote y por eso se ven un montón de puntitos que brillan más, o tal vez es que es así, no lo se, pero me encanta. Y aunque dentro del bote sea amarillo queda totalmente transparente cuando lo aplicas.

Espero que os haya gustado y que no me abandoneis aunque vaya con retraso...

Disney Challenge Day 29: El Rey León

Hi!
This is another late manicure, The Lion King. I didn't know what to do because all the images that came to my mind were too tall to paint them on my nails, so finally I decided to do the obvious, a big sun with the silouettes of the main characters in black. Can you guess who they are??

Esta es otra de las manicuras que llevo atrasadas, El Rey León. No sabía qué hacerme para esta manicura porque todas las imágenes que se me ocurrian eran demasiado altas para hacerlas en las uñas, así que al final decidí hacer lo obvio, un gran sol con las siluetas de los personajes principales en negro. ¿Podríais adivinar quien es cada uno?

For the base I used Wynie 302 and added everything else with acrylic paint. Do you like this movie?

Disney Challenge Day 28: Pesadilla Antes de Navidad

Hi girls!
I skipped Day 27 because I haven't been able to do something for Aladdin, I will post it at the end of the challenge with the other manicures that I missed.
I love this movie, it's so different and the animation it's amazing!!

Me he saltado el día 27 porque no he sido capaz de hacer nada para Aladdin, subire la manicura al final del reto junto con las demás que me he saltado.

Me encanta esta película, es tan diferente... ¡Y la animación es increíble!

I think you will agree with me when I say that this would be a good Halloween manicure too! I represented the moment Oogie Boogie was singing with all his glowing bugs and skeletons. I used Deliplus nº58 as the base and acrylic paints to make Oogie Boogie and the spiders, bats and skulls.

Creo que estareis de acuerdo conmigo en que podría ser también una buena manicura de Halloween! He representado el momento en el que Oogie Boogie estaba cantando con todos su bichos y esqueletos brillantes. He utilizado como base Deliplus nº58 y pinturas acrílicas para Oogie Boogie y las arañas, murciélagos y calaveras.

The polish that you can see in the pictures is another glow in the dark polish that Amparo from El Tocador de Bella sent me, I applied as a topcoat, but I forgot to take the pictures of the polish glowing... ¬¬u

Disney Challenge Day 26: La Bella y la Bestia

Hi Girls!
I am again updated with the Disney challenge, I really hope it continues like that.
Today is one of the most beautiful Disney Movies, The Beauty and the Beast. This movie has everything! The drawings are beautiful and the songs are so good! Belle is my favourite Disney Princess because I think she is different, she likes reading, works hard and is a dreamer!

¡Hola Chicas!
Ya estoy otra vez al día con el reto Disney, y espero que siga así.
Hoy toca una de las películas más bonitas de los Clasicos Disney, La Bella y la Bestia. Esta película tiene de todo! Los dibujos son preciosos y las conciones son muy buenas. Bella siempre ha sido mi Princesa Disney Favorita porque es diferente, le gusta leer, trabaja duro y es una soñadora!

One of the things that I love most from this movie are the glazed windows that show the story in the beginning of the movie, they were so beautiful! I inspired my manicure on this picture.

Una de las cosas que me gustan más de esta peli son las vidrieras que cuentan la historia al principio, son tan bonitas! Me he inspirado en esta imagen para hacer la manicura.

The rose on the accent nail is made reacreatin this amazing "Blue Wave Manicure by Simply Rins" and the other nails are made with the Saran Wrap Technique, that I was dying to try. I first painted a base coat with Essence Frozen Queen, and then with a saran wrap ball dipped on Barry M Denim I dabbed on my nails creating that effect. Finally topcoat and you are ready to go!

La rosa del accent nail está hecha recreando esta increíble "Blue Wave Manicure by Simply Rins" y las otras uñas stán hechas con la técnica del Saran Wrap, que me moría por probar. Primero apliqué una capa de Essence Frozen Queen, y luego con una bola de papel film transparente mojada en Barry M Denim fui dando toquecitos para crear ese efecto. Por último topcoat y esta listo.

Disney Challenge Day 25: Pato Aventuras (Fail!)

Hi Girls!
You know I'm not used to post my fail manicures, I am so perfectionist that if I make a mistake I start all over again. But today I didn't had time to do so and I kinda like what I made, so I am going to show you anyway...

Ya sabeis que no estoy acostumbrada a subir mis fails al blog, soy tan perfeccionista que cuando cometo un error comienzo todo de nuevo. Pero hoy no tenía tiempo para eso y de alguna forma me gusta lo que ha salido, así que os lo voy a enseñar de todas formas...

Let me introduce you to my "Duck Tales" manicure. It's a big fail because you would never guess that it's inspired by Duck Tales, but it is! The little coloured things on my tips are the hats of each one of them, plus the pink bow of Webbie.

Os presento mi manicura de "Pato Aventuras". Es un gran fail porque nunca diriais que está inspirada en estos dibujitos, pero ¡Si! Las cosas de colores en mis uñas son las gorras de cada uno de ellos, más el lacito de Rosita.

The base colour is one of the new polishes that Anetta Ana Crispis sent me, it's Catrice Sing: Oh, Champs-Élysées from the Ultimate Nudes Collection. It's a beautiful soft pink with a hint of shimmer (that you can guess if you look closer the bottle of the picture).

El color de base es uno de los esmaltes nuevos que me mandó Anetta Ana Crispis, es el Catrice Sing: Oh, Champs-Élysées de la Colección Ultimate Nudes. Es un rosa pálido preciosos con un poco de shimmer (que podeis apreciar si mirais la botella de la foto de cerca).

I said I liked the result because if you don't say that this manicure is inspired on Duck Tales, it could be an abstract french manicure, and I think the bow it's a good idea for girly manicures, and it's so easy to do that I'm sure I will use it again.

He dicho que me gustaba el resultado porque si no digo que la manicura está inspirada en Pato Aventuras, podría ser una manicura francesa abstracta, y creo que el lacito es una buea idea para manicuras monosas, y es tan sencillo de hacer que estoy segura de que lo volveré a usar.

Disney Challenge Day 24: La Sirenita

OMG!
Finally we have reached this movie! Since we started the Disney Challenge I have wanted to do the Little Mermaid's manicure! This movie was my second favourite, just right after Robin Hood, and when I was little I was always singing the songs. My parents told me that they hated this movie because I drived them crazy singing all day and watching it again and again.

Por fin hemos llegado a esta película! Desde que comenzamos el Reto Disney que querido hacer la manicura de La Sirenita! Esta película era mi segunda favorita, justo despues de Robin Hood, y cuando era pequeña siempre estaba cantando las canciones. Mis padres me han contado que la odiaban porque los volvía locos todo el día cantando y viendola una vez y otra...

I was dying to use my new Essence Blue Addictet that I bought without knowing that it is a perfect dupe for Debora Lippman's Across the Universe, you can see them compared HERE.
But after doing my "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" manicure I wanted to keep going with the sparkling backgrounds and I added one coat of Essence Glorious Aquarius, a special topper with blue and copper hex glitter with tiny holographic silver glitter. WOW! It looked so underwater!!

Me estaba muriendo por usar mi nuevo Essence Blue Addicted, el cual compré sin saber que era un clon exacto de Debora Lippman's Across the Universe, podeis ver la comparación AQUÍ.
Pero despues de hacer la manicura de "¿Quién Engañó a Roger Rabbit?" quería seguir con los fondos brillantes y añadí una capa de Essence Glorious Aquarius, un topper especial con glitter hexagonal en azul y cobre con glitters plateados holográficos minúsculos. WOW! Quedó muy de fondo del océano!!

As I was going to use A LOT of glitter I took the opportunity to make a little experiment. I have heard about Essence Peel Off base to remove glitter easily, and I also heard that you can achieve the same results just using PVA Glue. WHAT?? GLUE ON MY NAILS?? Yes! It may sound strange or dangerous at first but then I read that the major ingredient of Essence Peel Off Base Coat was PVA Glue, so I had to try it! I am going to wear this nails for two or three days to see if the glue holds even with water and then I will make a more detailed post abbout it.

Como iba a usar MUCHO glitter aproveché la oportunidad para hacer un pequeño experimento. He oído hablar de la base Peel Off de Essence para quitar el glitter facilmente, y también he oído que se puede conseguir el mismo resultado usando cola blanca. ¿¿QUE??¿¿COLA BLANCA EN MIS UÑAS?? Si! Puede sonar extraño al principio pero entonces leí que el componente principal de la base Peel Off de Essence era la Cola Blanca, así que tenía que probarlo! Voy a llevar esta manicura durante dos o tres días para ver si el pegamento aguanta incluso con agua y luego haré un post mucho más detallado.

Disney Challenge Day 23: ¿Quien Engañó a Roger Rabbit?

Hi everyone!!
As I promised here it is the "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" manicure. I love this movie, is really crazy just like me. Even if you don't know the movie you may know the famous words said by Jessica Rabbit: "I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way..."

¡¡Hola a Todas!!
Como os prometí aquí está la manicura de "¿Quién Engañó a Roger Rabbit?". Me encanta esta película, es muy loca, como yo. Incluso si no habeis visto nunca la película conocereis la famosa frase de Jessica Rabbit: "No soy mala, solo me han dibujado así..."

As some of my challenge friends I loved this character and I decided to dedicate this manicure to her.
I'm really proud of the portrait, you know I always say that faces are my nemesis but I keep trying and as some times I show you my fails, today I think is a success! I love the shadows in her neck and the gradient of her eyeshadow, but I have to keep working on my noses... Here you have a close up.

Como a muchas de mis compañeras del reto me encanta este personaje y decidí dedicarle esta manicura.
Estoy muy orgullosa de como ha quedado el retrato, ya sabeis que siempre digo que las caras son mi pesadilla pero lo sigo intentando e igual que a veces os enseño mis fails hoy creo que ha sido un exito! Me encantan las sombras de su cuello y el degradado de la sombra de ojos, pero aun tengo que trabajar en las narices... Aquí teneis un close up.

The base is Wynie 302, and then I added translucent hex glitters to make her sequined dress. The drawing is made with acrylic paints, and everything is topped with Seche Vite.
I hope you liked it, I will try to make The Little Mermaid manicure for tomorrow but I'm not sure if I'm going to have enough time...

La base es Wynie 302, y encima añadí glitter hexagonal translúcido para hacer su vestido de lentejuelas. El dibujo está hecho con pintura acrílica, y todo cubierto con una capa de Seche Vite.
Espero que os haya gustado, intentaré hacer la manicura de La Sirenita para mañana, pero no estoy segura de tener tiempo suficiente...

Disney Challenge Day 22: Tod y Toby

Hi Girls!!
I can't believe I'm late again!! I have been very busy lately I even haven't been sleeping at my house. But I am determined to finish this challenge and that's what I'm going to do! 
Today I bring you The Fox and The Hound manicure. I have seen this movie but not so many times like the other ones, so I don't remember a lot of it.

No me puedo creer que vaya tarde otra vez!! He estado muy ocupada ultimamente, incluso he estado durmiendo fuera de mi casa. Pero estoy absolutamente decidida a acabar este reto y eso es lo que voy a hacer!
Hoy os traigo la manicura de Tod y Toby. He visto esta película, pero no tantas veces como las demás, asi que no recuerdo gran cosa...

I have to make a lot of manicures so I can catch up all my friends from this challenge, so you are going to see some easier manicures like this. As you can see I painted Tod and Toby (the fox and the hound, I don't know who is who...) on my ring finger, the name of the movie on my middle finger and finally paw prints on the others (Simple but cute!)

Tengo que hacer muchas manicuras para poder alcanzar a mis compañeras del reto, asi que vais a ver mas manicuras sencillitas como esta. Como podeis ver he pintado a Tod y Toby (El zorro y el perro, no se quien es quien...) en mi dedo anular, el nombre de la película en mi dedo corazón y finalmente huellas de patitas en los demás (Simple pero mono!)

The polish I used as a base is H&M Lady Luck, a great duochrome. I love the colour of this polish, but the duochrome effect is not very strong. I hope you liked this manicure, tomorrow I will post one of my favourites "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?".

El esmalte que he usado como base es H&M Lady Luck, un duochromo genial. Me encanta el color de este esmalte, pero el efecto duocromo no es muy evidente. Espero que os haya gustado la manicura, mañana subiré una de mis favoritas "¿Quién Engañó a Roger Rabbit?".

Disney Challenge Day 21: Pedro y el Dragón Elliot

Hey! Two posts in a row!
I'm catching up with all the Disney manicures that I missed and this is the last one. For this manicure I didn't want to draw a craracter with acrylics, I wanted something quickly and simple and I went for colour combination. Elliot the Dragon is green and pink and I played with those colours using the Lightning Bolt Tutorial from Nailside.

Hey! Dos posts en un mismo dia!
Me estoy poniendo al dia con las manicuras del Reto Disney y esta es la última. Para esta manicura no quería dibujar un personaje con los acrílicos, quería hacer algo rápido y sencillo y tiré hacia la combinación de colores. Elliot el Dragón es verde y rosa y he jugado con esos colores usando el Tutorial del Rayo de Nailside.

I drew a noughts and crosses board on my ring finger because I love when Elliot burns a stick and paints this game on his belly, so cute!

He dibujado un tablero de tres en raya en mi anular porque me encanta cuando Elliot quema un palo y pinta el juego en su barriga, tan tierno!

I love this picture with Elliot on the top corner. I think I'm improving on taking pictures, don't you think so?
For the lightning I used Kiko Holographic 402 from the Lavish Oriental Collection and the base is Yes Love Pastel green, yes! pastel! In the bottle it looks like a "pastel neon green" if that kind of colour can exist... it's a very special colour because it could look pastel or neon depending on what colour are you combining it with.

Me encanta esta iamgen con Elliot saliendo por la esquina de arriba. Creo que estoy mejorando en tomar fotos ¿no creeis?.
Para el rayo he usado Kiko Holographic 402 de la Colección Lavish Oriental y la base es Yes Love verde pastel ¡Si! ¡Pastel! En el bote parece un "verde neón pastel" si esa clase de color puede existir... es un tono muy especial porque puede parecer pastel o neon dependiendo del color con el que lo combines.

Disney Challenge Day 20: Robin Hood

I'm sooooo late with this!!
I'm late with everything! I'm being lazy these days...
Well, this manicure has been special for me, Robin Hood is my favourite Disney movie and I wish I would have been more inspired and made something really amazing, but instead of that I was hurrying before going to my English lessons and I did something sort of quickly...

Voy muyyyy tarde con el reto!!
En realidad voy tarde con todo! Estoy siendo muy vaga en estos días...
Bueno, esta manicura ha sido muy especial para mi, Robin Hood es mi peli Disney favorita y ojalá hubiera estado más inspirada y hubiera hecho algo realmente increíble, pero en vez de eso la hice corriendo antes de irme a clase de Inglés y tuve que hacer algo relativamente rápido...

I'm pretty proud of his face, but the arms look too thin and I misplaced my fingers, so the drawing is not well alined. My inspiration was this picture.

Estoy bastante orgullosa de cómo ha quedado su cara, pero los brazos se ven demasiado delgados y coloqué mal mis dedos, así que el dibujo no está muy bien alineado. Mi inspiración fue esta imagen.

I am going to tell you a secret, when I was little I was in love with Robin Hood (So am I now haha) that's why this is my favourite movie, and I hated Lady Marian because she was so cheese... well I suppose I was just being jealous. So, when I found this image that reflected all my feelings I had to show it!

Voy a contaros un secreto, cuando era pequeña estaba enamorada de Robin Hood (Igual que ahora jaja) por eso es mi pelicula favorita, y odiaba a Lady Marian por ser tan cursi... bueno, supongo que solo estaba celosa. Así que cuando enconré esta imagen que reflejaba mis sentimientos perfectamente, la tuve que enseñar!

Disney Challenge Day 19: Los Aristogatos

I'm one day late as always... I would have wanted to do one manicure for each of the kittens of the movie, my favourite was Toulouse because he played piano, but I started doing Marie and didn't have time to do the other ones...

Voy un día tarde como siempre... Me hubiera gustado hacer una manicura por cada uno de los gatitos de la película, mi favorito era Toulouse porque tocaba el piano, pero comencé haciendo la de Marie y no me dio tiempo de hacer a los demás...

I drawed her from the back because I wanted the pink bow to be seen. I made a gradient with Claire's Colour Mood Change Mellow/Crazy on top of Yves Rocher Nude and finally added the drawings with acrylic paints as always.

La dibujé de espaldas porque quería que el lazo rosa se viera. Hice un degradado con Claire's Colour Mood Change Mellow/Crazy encima de Yves Rocher Nude y para terminar añadí los dibujos con pintura acrílica, como siempre.

I think I'm going to wear thie manicure for a few days because I love how girly it is, and I'm feeling very girly these days. : 3 I think the paws give it a funny and cute look.

Creo que voy a llevar esta manicura durante algunos días porque me encanta lo mona que  ha quedado, y estos días me siento más moñosa : 3  Creo que las patitas le dan un aire divertido y mono.
