This is a fun manicure I have been wanting to do for a while. I have already said a few times on this blog that I love the look of decorations over nude nails and a glossy finish like gel manicures, and now that my nails are super short because they are breaking all the time!! this design seemed perfect to try.

Christmas is getting nearer and this challenge is also moving forward and I am liking every day of it! Today I have made a skittle manicure (all nails different but forming a cohesive whole) with my favourite Holiday Colours, white, green, red, golden, silver and black, did I miss any? haha

La Navidad se va acercando y este reto tambien va cogiendo carrerilla y me están gustando cada uno de los días! Hoy he hecho una manicura skittle (todas las uñas diferentes formando un unico conjunto) con mis Colores de Fiesta favoritos, blanco, verde, rojo, dorado, plateado y negro, se me olvida alguno? jaja

The perfect holiday manicure! On my Index Finger I have used a base of China Glaze Holly Day and then topped it with Yes Love Snow Flack 17. The Middle and Ring Fingers have Flormar 310 as the base, but the first one has stripes made with Wynie 302 and BPS Striping Tape; and the second one has different sized dots made with China Glaze Passion. Last, but not least, we have Kiko Starry Black one of the polishes from the Sugar Matt Collection that is an exact dupe for Zoya Pixie Dust Dahlia.

Es la manicura de Navidad perfecta! En mi dedo Índice he utilizado como base China Glaze Holly Day y encima Yes Love Snow Flack 17. Los dedos Corazón y Anular llevan Flormar 310 de base, pero el primero tiene líneas con Wynie 302 y Stipping Tape de BPS; y el segundo puntos de diferentes tamaños hechos con China Glaze Passion. Por último, tenemos Kiko Starry Black, uno de los esmaltes de la Colección Sugar Matt que es un clon exacto de Zoya Pixie Dust Dahlia.

I think my favourite nail is the index, I really like that Yes Love topper and pairing it with Holly Day was a terrific combination! Also I have seen so many times textured polishes used for accent nails and I have never tried it until now, and I think I like it, although texture is not what I really like to feel on my nails...

Creo que mi uña favorita es la ïndice, me encanta ese topper de Yes Love y juntarlo con Holly Day hizo una combinación genial! Además he visto tantas veces los esmaltes con textura como accent nails y nunca lo había intentado hasta ahora, creo que me gusta, aun sabiendo que textura no es lo que más me gusta sentir en las uñas...

I am here again with another day of the Zodiac Challenge! This month the manicure is about Libra and I read on our Facebook group that the main colour of this sign is light green, so I decided to go for a simple design and this is what came out of my mind.

Ahora mismo estaré en tierras Suecas y estoy segura de que me estaré congelando!! Incluso siendo verano... Así que este tema no es perfecto ahora mismo... o sí porque me estaré convirtiendo en un polo gigante!!

The day I made this little guys I was feeling super kawaii! hehe So here it is a fun manicure, I wore it for a whole week because I loved itand every time I looked at it it cheered me up.



El día que hice a estos pequeñajos me sentía muy kawaii! hehe Así que aquí teneis una manicura divertida, la llevé una semana entera porque me encantó, y cada vez que la miraba me levantaba la moral.

I started with a base of Yes Love Pastel Pink, and stamped with BM (insert number here soon!!) and finally I drew the popsicles with acrylic paints.



Comencé con una base de Yes Love Pastel Pink, y estampé con BM (Escribir número aquí pronto!!) y para terminar dibujé los politos con pinturas acrílicas.

Born Pretty Comiss Yogurt Series Nail Polish

Today I am here to show you some swatches of one of the amazing nail polishes from the Born Pretty Store Yogurt Series. I have been wanting to try these polishes for a long time because they are glitter sandwiches! You can see and buy the whole collection Here.

Hoy estoy aquí para enseñaros algunos swatches de uno de los bonitos esmaltes de la colección Yogurt Series de Born Pretty Store. Llevo queriendo probar estos esmaltes desde hace mucho tiempo porque son glitter sandwiches! Podeis ver y comprar la colección completa Aquí.

This is number #17, a jelly vanilla base with medium hex glitters in yellow and red, it also has silver micro glitter, as you can see on the bottle that gives a subtle sparkle to the nails. This shows two coats over Yes Love Pastel Yellow on the index and ring nails, and three coats on it's own on middle and pinky nails.



Este es el número #17, una base jelly color vainilla con glitter hexagonal de tamaño mediano en color amarillo y rojo, también lleva micro glitter plateado, como podéis ver en el bote, que le da un brillo discreto a las uñas. En esta foto vemos dos capas sobre Yes Love Pastel Yellow en las uñas índice y anular, y tres capas solo en las uñas corazón y meñique.

There was no need of glitter fishing or placing, and they lay perfectly flat. I personally prefer layering it over a yellow base because with three coats it started to get thick and the nail line was still a bit visible.



No hizo falta pescar o recolocar los glitters, y se colocaron totalmente planos. A mí personalmente me gusta más ponerlo sobre la base amarilla porque con tres capas comenzaba a quedar grueso y la línea de la uña aún se podía ver.

SummerNails Challenge #8: Palmeras/Palm Trees

Here it is another day of the SummerNails Challenge, I am a little bit out of inspiration these days, so I'm just going to say that this one was one of my favourites manis so far because you all know I love gradient backgrounds...

Aqui estamos otro dia del eto SummerNails, estoy un poco sin inspiración estos días así que sólo voy a decir que esta ha sido una de mis manicuras favoritas de lo que llevamos porque ya sabeis que me encantan los fondos en degradado...

This time I decided to do another kind of gradient, instead of doing it with the make up sponge I made it just with brush strokes of acrylic paint. So this manicure doesn't have a lot of nail polish, just the sky blue base that I made with Yes Love Y36.



Esta vez he decidido hacer otro tipo de degradado, en vez de hacerlo con la esponja de maquillaje lo he hecho solo con pinceladas de pintura acrílica. Así que esta manicura no lleva casi esmalte de uñas, sólo la base azul cielo que hice con Yes Love Y36.

The palm trees were (obviously) the trickiest part of the design, the leaves needed super thin lines, but the good thing was that they are messy so if you make any mistake nobody would notice.



Las palmeras fueron (obviamente) la parte más difícil del diseño, las hojas necesitan líneas super finas, pero lo bueno es que son desordenadas así que si uno se equivoca nadie lo notará.

SummerNails Challenge 6: Sirena/Mermaid

Hi Everyone!!
Finally we are at a SummerNails Challenge Day that it's not about fruits!! Yayyy!! I have enjoyed them but now it's time to do something different.
I have already done mermaid nails before when we were doing the Disney Challenge, I loved my Little Mermaid nails, but today I wanted to make something different, and easier.

Por fin estamos en un día del Reto SummerNails que no es sobre frutas!! Bienn!! Las he disfrutado, pero ahora es hora de hacer algo diferente.
Ya he hecho anteriormente uñas de Sirena cuando estábamos haciendo el Reto Disney, me encantaron mis uñas de La Sirenita, pero hoy quería hacer algo diferente, y sencillo.

Perfect for summer! But I have to say that I made an awful mistake that was not using a topcoat on top, then I went to bed... and when I woke up I had lost most of the glequins and they were all over my face, body and bed... I have been finding glequins everywhere for a week!!!



Perfectas para el veranito! Pero tengo que decir que cometí un tremendo error, que fue no usar topcoat encima, luego me fui a la cama... y cuando me desperté había perdido la mayoría de los glequins, que estaban pegados por toda mi cara, cuerpo y cama... he estado encontrando glequins por todos lados durante una semana!!!

To make this manicure I first applied one coat of Kiko 401, and then started adding the BPS glequins in Turquoise, Navy Blue, Green, Yellow and Silver, randomly. On the accent nails the glequings are placed on top of each other like fish (or mermaid) scales, on the other fingers they are making waves that remind me of the sea...



Para hacer esta manicura primero apliqué una capa de Kiko 401, y luego comencé a añadir los glequins de BPS en Turquesa, Azul Marino, Verde, Amarillo y Plateado, de forma aleatoria. En las accent nails los glequins están colocados unos encima de otros como escamas de peces (o sirenas), en las otras uñas están haciendo ondas que me recuerdan al mar...

Which one do you prefer? The complicated and beautiful Little Mermaid Nails? Or the simple and neat Mermaid Scales Nails? Anyway I hope you enjoyed both of them!!

SummerNails Challenge 5: Limonada/Lemonade

Hi Everyone!
I hope you all are enjoying your summer (or winter if you are from the other side of the world), my vacations ends today, so I will be arriving home in a few hours and start blogging in real time for tomorrow, well, let's talk about today's manicure. When I started this challenge I didn't notice that there where so many fruity manicures in a row! But I promise this is the last one. Here it is my Lemonade Manicure!

Espero que esteis disfrutando del verano (o del invierno si sois del otro lado del mundo), mi viaje de vacaciones termina hoy, así que llegaré a casa en unas horas y comenzare a bloggear a tiempo real mañana, bueno, vamos a hablar sobre la manicra de hoy. Cuando comencé este reto no me di cuenta de que había tantas manicuras de frutas seguidas! Pero os prometo que esta ya es la última. Aquí teneis mi Manicura de Limonada!

I love how this turned out, the most important thing was that when I started painting my nails I hadn't anything planned as I usually do, I just did what I felt that I liked and I am really proud it turned this pretty... When I see this manicure I immediately feel the need of having some lemonade, lemon ice cream or lemon drops (Like Dumbledore).



Me encanta como salió, lo más importante fue que cuando comencé a pintarme las uñas no tenía nada pensado como normalmente hago, simplemente hice lo que sentía que me iba a gustar y estoy muy orgullosa de que quedara tan bonita... Cuando veo esta manicura enseguida me enta hambre de limonada, helado de limon o caramelos de limón (Como Dumbledore).

To make this manicure I used: Yes Love Y74 as the base and then made a three colour gradient with Yes Love Y74, Yes Love 007 and China Glaze Holly-Day. Finally I added Fimo lemon slices and on the accent nails some green Glequins. Easy and quick!



Para hacer esta manicura utilicé: Yes Love Y74 para la base y luego hice un degradado de tres colores con Yes Love Y74, Yes Love 007 y China Glaze Holly-Day. Para terminar añadí unas rodajas de limón de Fimo y en las accent nails algunos Glequins verdes. Fácil y rápido!

SummerNails Challenge 4: Sandía/Watermelon

This is a programmed post, so I should be sunbathing at the beach right now... But even being at the beach I am sure I am thinking about you all and I don't want you to miss one of the SummerNails Challenge days!! Today the inspiration is another fruit, my favourite fruit, watermelon!!

Este es un post programado, así que ahora mismo deberia estar tomando el sol en la playa... Pero aun estando en la playa estoy segura de que estaré pensando en vosotros y no quiero que os perdais uno de los días de Reto SummerNails!!
Hoy la inspiración es otra fruta, mi fruta favorita, sandía!!

This is a special manicure for me, because it's the first time I make half moon nails! I never tried this design before because to rock the half moons you have to have very regular nails and mine weren't, but now they are better and I think they look great! I used Kiko 402, a pink holo, for the inside of the watermelon, and China Glaze Holly-Day for the watermelon rind. Everything else was made with acrylic paints.



Esta es una manicura especial para mi, porque es la primera vez que hago las uñas en media luna! Nunca he intentado este diseño antes porque para que las medias lunas queden bien hay que tener uñas muy regulares y las mías no lo eran, pero ahora están mejor y creo que quedan genial! He usado Kiko 402, un holo rosa, para la parte de dentro de la sandía, y China Glaze Holly-Day para la cáscara. Todo lo demás está hecho con pinturas acrílicas.

I love how the dulled holo polish (because of the topcoat) gives so much texture to the inside of the watermelon! See you next week with another SummerNails Manicure.



Me encanta como el esmalte holográfico sin el efecto holo (por culpa del topcoat) le da tanta textura a la parte de dentro de la sandía! Nos vemos la semana que viene con otra Manicura de SummerNails.

Seven Deadly Sins Challenge Day 14: Pride

Today is the day! This is the last manicure of the Deadly Sins Challenge! I didn't want it to end, that's why I have been procrastinating a little bit... But I have put all my effort to make a beautiful manicure!

Hoy es el dia! Esta es la última manicura del Reto de los Pecado Capitales! No quería que se terminara así que por eso lo he estado demorando un poco... Pero me he esforzado al máximo para hacer una manicura preciosa!

The prompt for the last day of Pride is: "This is your time! Brag about how good you are at..." This was a hard one for me because I always think that I have to improve, but I have noticed that usually people like my gradient manicures, so I decided to do this Acid gradient with Yellow, Green and Blue.

Las instrucciones para el último día de Orgullo dicen: "Este es tu momento! Presume de lo bueno que eres en..." Estas han sido bastante difíciles para mí porque siempre creo que tengo algo que mejorar, pero me he dado cuenta de que a la gente le suelen gustar mis manicuras degradadas, así que he decidido hacer este degradado Ácido con Amarillo, Verde y Azul.

I used three colours for this gradient, Yes love Pastel Yellow, Yes Love Pastel Green and Kiko 336, but I was amazed how the combination of the Blue and Green made a really pretty Teal Colour!! Of course I needed to do some nail art on it, because I think that is one of the things I do best...

Utilicé tres colores para el degradado, Yes love Pastel Yellow, Yes Love Pastel Green and Kiko 336, pero me quedé impresionada de cómo la combinación del Azul y el Verde crearon un color turquesa precioso!! Por supuesto tenía que hacer algo de nail art, porque creo que es una de las cosas que me salen mejor...

I saw this kind of nail art that looks like a butterfly wing a long time ago when I was starting blogging and I fell in love with it, and this seemed the right moment to give it a try. I loved the result!! I hope you like it too... 

And this is a Goodbye... but tomorrow there is going to be a big surprise that will mean changes to the blog... at least for a few months, and I hope you will be as excited as I am. Don't miss it!!

Vi este tipo de nail art que parece un ala de una mariposa hace ya mucho tiempo, cuando comencé con el blog, y me enamoré, y este me pareció un buen momento para darle una oportunidad. Me ha encantado!! Espero que a vosotros también...
