Summer Challenge Day 33: Sea Shells

Hi ladies!! Today is Sea Shells, a very summery theme. At first I thought of doing something with acrylics but I remembered that I had bought a long time ago some crushed sea shells for nail art and I hadn't used them yet! So I've been experimenting with them all day and this is what I've ended with.

Hola chicas!! Hoy es el día de Conchas Marinas, un tema muy veraniego. Al principio pensé en hacer algo con los acrílicos pero me acordé de que hace un tiempo compré trozos de conchas para nail art y no las había utilizado todavía! Así que hoy he estado todo el día experimentando con ellas y esto es lo que ha salido.

 I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! It reminds me of sea foam, mermaids, shells...  I worked with layering this time using a lot of polishes, and added the "mermaid gradient" that you can find on my Pinterest "Inspiring" Board. 

What I used:

French Tips: Holographic Glitter, Essie Shine of the Times and White crushed Sea Shells

Top Coat: Seche Vite

Accent Nail:

Base: Essence Color & Go Choose Me!

Layering: Blue Glitter, Golden Glitter and Essie Shine of the Times

ME ENCANTA!! Me recuerda a la espuma de mar, sirenas, conchas... He trabajado esta vez con layering utilizando muchos pintauñas, y he añadido el "degradado de sirena" que podeis encontrar en el tablón "Inspiring" de mi Pinterest.

He usado:

Manicura Francesa: Glitter Holographico, Essie Shine of the Times y Trozos de conchas blancos.

Top Coat: Seche Vite

Accent Nail:

Base: Essence Color & Go Choose Me!

Summer Challenge Day 25: Summer Water Marble

Wow! Sometimes manicures go wrong, and this is one of them... I suck at doing water marble, and I was planning to do a dry water marble, but I forgot to prepare it yesterday. The problem is that I don't find good polishes that work fine in water, the polishes that I have just don't spread and they dry too fast. Well, that's why my manicure doesn't look summery at all, I used the only colours that I could.

Wow! A veces las manicuras no salen bien, y esta es una de ellas... El water marble me sale fatal, y por ello quería haber hecho un water marble en seco, pero se me olvidó prepararlo ayer. El problema es que no encuentro pintauñas que funcionen en el agua, los que tengo no se esparcen y secan demasiado rápido. Bueno, por eso mi manicura no es nada veraniega, he usado los colores que he podido.

See? But what I love is that I have finally used one of my new Duochrome nail polishes, H&M Lady Luck. As you can see it's a deep green with hints of blue and yellow.

For this manicure I used:

Lo veis? Pero lo que si que me encanta de esta manicura es que he utilizado uno de mis nuevos pintauñas duochromes, H&M Lady Luck. Como podeis ver es un verde esmeralda con reflejos en azul y amarillo.

Summer Challenge Day 16: Ladybird

Hi Ladies!! This is going to be one of my favourite manis ever!! It's so funny I can't resist laughing every time I look at it. I took my inspiration from this picture I found on the internet.
And this is my interpretation.

Y esta es mi interpretación.

How cute in the little chameleon trying to be a ladybird? Hahaha I love it!

Summer Challenge Day 14: Gardening

This manicure was a real pain in the ass!!! I wanted to try something new because I didn't want it to look just like the Chelsea Flower Show manicure that I did for this same challenge. And then I saw this picture and I thought it was all decided!

Esta manicura ha sido un verdadero co....azo!!! Quería desesperadamente hacer algo nuevo porque no quería que esta manicura quedara igual que la de Chelsea Flower Show que hice para este mismo reto. Y entonces vi esta imagen y pensé que ya lo tenía!

Of course I wasn't going to add the little tree and people, but my brother had something that looked like grass from the Warhammer Game and I decided to do the same.

Por supuesto no iba a añadir el arbolito ni las personas, pero mi hermano tenía  algo que parecía hierba del juego de los Warhammer y decidí hacer lo mismo.

I liked how it looked, but I couldn't stand the texture on my nails, it was really weird and I was thinking that I was leaving little grass all over my room, clothes, hair...

Me gustó como quedaba, pero no podía soportar la textura en las uñas, era muy muy raro y estaba constantemente pensando que iba dejando hierbecitas por todo mi cuarto, mi ropa, mi pelo...

The worst part was how to remove it, I am just going to say that was harder than cleaning a really well packed glitter manicure... Well, at least it really is a gardening manicure hahaha. 

For this manicure I used:

Base: China Glaze Holly-day (Although I can't see it)

Used a top coat of Seche Vite and added Warhammer DIY grass on top when it was still wet.

La peor parte fue cómo quitárselo, sólo voy a decir que fue más difícil que quitar una manicura de glitter muy densa... Bueno, por lo menos es una manicura jardinera de verdad jajaja

Para esta manicura he usado:

Base: China Glaze Holly-day (Aunque no pueda verla está ahí)

Usé una capa de Seche Vite y le añadí la hierba de los Warhammer cuando todavía no estaba seco.

Summer Challenge Day 2: Chelsea Flower Show

Hi! Welcome to the second day of the Summer Challenge!! Today is about the Chelsea Flower Show and of course I had to do a mani with flowers on it.

 This is my first time stamping with more than one colour and I think it looks pretty good. 

For this manicure I used:

Base: Bourjois Lime Catwalk nº38

Stamp: BM-220, Easy Paris White nº48, Bourjois Orange Creation nº42

Leaves: Yes Love Magnetics nº9, Essence Colour & Go Choose Me! nº38

Top Coat: Seche Vite

The End of Spring

Well I haven't posted a lot since I rearranged the blog because I'm doing major changes about it. But this is going to change soon. I hope you like my last mani.

Bueno, no he escrito mucho desde que modifiqué el blog porque estoy haciendo grandes cambios en él. Pero eso va a cambiar muy pronto, ya lo vereis. Espero que os guste esta manicura.

This manicure was spring-spired, but I'm going to start soon my very FIRST Nail Art Challenge, and it is the Purple Fairy Crumpet Summer Challenge, so I decided to call this manicure "The end of Spring" because it's the last one I will make before I start the summer Challenge.

Esta manicura estaba inspirada en la primavera, pero voy a empezar mi PRIMER reto de Nail Art, es el Reto de Verano de Purple Fairy Crumpet, así que he decidido llamar a esta manicura "The End of Spring" porque es la última que voy a hacer antes de comenzar el reto.
