Reto Zodíaco: Cáncer

Hi everyone!!
This week I am really happy because I have passed all the exams that I have done! To celebrate it I have some real Nail Art. And what I mean for real is nail art made with acrylics and no tricks like plastic bags or markers ;) Also I am in love with the result so, I cant wait to show you the Cancer manicure.

Esta semana estoy muy contenta porque he aprobado todos los examenes que he hecho hasta ahora! Para celebrarlo os traigo Nail Art de verdad. Y a o que me reviero con "de verdad" es a nail art hecho con pinturas acrílicas, sin trucos como bolsas de plástico o rotuladores permanentes ;) Además estoy encantada con el resultado así que no puedo esperar para enseñaros esta manicura de Cáncer.

Hi little guy Crab!! hehe I found this image on Google looking for inspiration and I knew immediately that I needed to introduce him on the manicure. Besides the background everything is made with acrylic paints.



Hola pequeño cangrejito!! jeje Encontré esta imagen en Google mientras buscaba inspiración y supe enseguida que tenía que introducirlo en la manicura. A parte del fondo todo está hecho con pinturas acrílicas.

To make the background I used the Watercolour Technique, applying first a white base with Flormar 310 and then making random dots with Ecovital Manantial and Easy Paris 402, then I spread the blobs gently with a soft brush dipped in nail polish remover. Creating this amazing effect.



Para hacer el fondo utilicé la Técnica de Acuarela, aplicando primero una base blanca con Flormar 310 y luego haciendo puntos al azar con Ecovital Manantial y Easy Paris 402, luego extendí las gotitas con cuidado usando un pincel suave mojado en quitaesmaltes. Creando este efecto tan bonito.

Purple and white are the colours for this zodiac sign and that's why I chose to make that background. Also people born under the influence of cancer are shy people that love their home, and think about it as their own peaceful place. I hope you all enjoyed this manicure!!



El morado y el blanco son los colores de este signo del zodíaco, por eso he escogido hacer este fondo. También sabemos que las personas que nacen bajo la influencia de Cáncer son personas tímidas que aman su cas, y piensan en ella como su propio refugio de paz. Born Pretty Store Glow in the Dark Polish

Hi Everyone!
While the Poke Makeup starts let's see some cool stuff that Born Pretty Store has sent me. This time I have one of their famous Fluorescent Neon Glow in the Dark Polishes. You can say What? Hadn't we seen enough Glow in the dark polishes on Halloween? Well you are right but, these polishes are not the usual glow in the dark polished because they glow in the colour of the nail polish.

Mientras comienza el Poke Makeup vamos a ver algunas cositas chulas que me ha enviado Born Pretty Store. Esta vez tengo uno de sus famosos esmaltes Fluorescentes Neon que brillan en la oscuridad. Podeis decir, ¿Qué? ¿No habíamos visto ya suficientes esmaltes glow en Halloween? Bueno, teneis razón pero, estos esmaltes no son los normales Glow in the dark, porque brillan en el color del esmalte.

Yes! I know you have seen this design before (and if you haven't just check this amazing post made by Lucy's Stash). I know hers is much better, but I loved how the glow made the design pop so much and look real 3D. To make this design I painted two coats of BK 10 and, following Copy That, Copy Cat's Tutorial, I painted the accent nails with acrylics.



Si! Ya sé que habeis visto este diseño antes (y si no lo conoceis pasaros por este post tan chulo hecho por Lucy's Stash). Está claro que el suyo está mejor, pero me encantó cómo el brillo hazo que el diseño destacara y pareciera tan 3D. Para hacer este diseño utilicé dos capas de BK 10 y , siguiendo el tutorial de Copy that, Copy Cat, dibujé las accent nails con acrílicos.

 On top of the white squares I used a Glow in the Dark topcoat, so you can see the difference between colours. The regular Glow in the Dark Topcoat glows with that yellow greenish colour of most Glow in the Dark Polishes, and BK 10 glows PINK!! It doesn't glow with a very strong light, but I have read that this colour is the least bright of the collection. Anyway the colour is amazing and I love it!



Encima de los cuadraditos blanco puse un Topcoat Glow in the Dark, así podeis ver la diferencia entre los colores. El Glow top coat normal brilla con esa luz amarillo-verdosa de la mayoria de esmaltes que brillan en la oscuridad, y el BK 10 brilla en ROSA!! No tiene un brillo muy fuerte, pero he leido que es el menos brillante de la colección. De todas formas es increíble y me encanta!

Seven Deadly Sins Challenge Day 14: Pride

Hi Girls!!
Today is the day! This is the last manicure of the Deadly Sins Challenge! I didn't want it to end, that's why I have been procrastinating a little bit... But I have put all my effort to make a beautiful manicure!

Hoy es el dia! Esta es la última manicura del Reto de los Pecado Capitales! No quería que se terminara así que por eso lo he estado demorando un poco... Pero me he esforzado al máximo para hacer una manicura preciosa!

The prompt for the last day of Pride is: "This is your time! Brag about how good you are at..." This was a hard one for me because I always think that I have to improve, but I have noticed that usually people like my gradient manicures, so I decided to do this Acid gradient with Yellow, Green and Blue.

Las instrucciones para el último día de Orgullo dicen: "Este es tu momento! Presume de lo bueno que eres en..." Estas han sido bastante difíciles para mí porque siempre creo que tengo algo que mejorar, pero me he dado cuenta de que a la gente le suelen gustar mis manicuras degradadas, así que he decidido hacer este degradado Ácido con Amarillo, Verde y Azul.

I used three colours for this gradient, Yes love Pastel Yellow, Yes Love Pastel Green and Kiko 336, but I was amazed how the combination of the Blue and Green made a really pretty Teal Colour!! Of course I needed to do some nail art on it, because I think that is one of the things I do best...

Utilicé tres colores para el degradado, Yes love Pastel Yellow, Yes Love Pastel Green and Kiko 336, pero me quedé impresionada de cómo la combinación del Azul y el Verde crearon un color turquesa precioso!! Por supuesto tenía que hacer algo de nail art, porque creo que es una de las cosas que me salen mejor...

I saw this kind of nail art that looks like a butterfly wing a long time ago when I was starting blogging and I fell in love with it, and this seemed the right moment to give it a try. I loved the result!! I hope you like it too...

Seven Deadly Sins Challenge Day 13: Pride

Hi my preciouses!
Did you enjoy my LOTR manicure? I hope you did!
Pride is the last sin of the Deadly Sins Challenge and I am really sad that this is ending, but I am also happy because this was my first time organising a challenge and, even there were things that I could have done better, I think everyone had a great time! Anyway, this is not the last manicure, so let's enjoy it.

Os gustó mi manicura de ESDLA? Espero que si!
Orgullo es el último pecado del Reto de los Pecados Capitales y estoy muy triste de que se esté acabando, pero también estoy contenta porque ha sido mi primera vez organizando un reto y, aunque ha habido cosas que podrían haber salido mejor, creo que todo el mundo l pasó genial! De todas formas, esta no es la última manicura así que disfrutémosla.

The prompt for the first day of Pride says: "Recreate your own work to make it eve better". I made this prompt thinking about being proud of all we have learnt and improved with time, and I loved doing it! The manicure I have recreated was the Day 4 of the Summer Challenge, where I did an orange manicure with shiny dots over a matte base.



Las instrucciones para el primer día de Orgullo dicen: "Recrea tu propio trabajo para hacerlo aún mejor!. Hice estas instrucciones pensando en que todos estuviéramos orgullosos de lo que hemos aprendido y mejorado con el tiempo, y me ha encantado! La manicura que he recreado ha sido el Día 4 del Summer Challenge, donde hice una manicura naranja con lunares brillantes sobre una base mate.

This is the original picture (it has been less than one year ago!), and even I still think I have lots of things to improve, I can see other things that have gone better. Nail shape and length, cuticle care... Also I think my photography skills are better...



Esta es la foto original (Ha pasado menos de un año!), y aunque creo que todavía tengo muchas cosas que mejorar, se puede ver que otras cosas han mejorado. La forma de las uñas y la longitud, cutículas... También creo que mis fotografías son mejores...

In case you liked this manicure and want to recreate it yourself here it is what I used, it's really easy!
Two coats of China Glaze For Audrey, then one coat of Essence Special Effects Topper Soft Touch (matte Topcoat) and finally, playing with dotting tools in different sizes added the details with Seche Vite.

Seven Deadly Sins Challenge Day 11 and 12: Envy

Hi girls!
Yes, again two days in just one post... this month is killing me, but this time I am bringing you two manicures, so... not bad?
This week we are working with the Sin Envy, and the first prompt says: "Who would you like to be? Let us know recreating other challenger's work" I went through all the challengers blogs and instagrams and really enjoyed it because they are amazing nail artists, but I already had chosen "who I wanted to be".

Sí, de nuevo dos días en un único post... este mes me está matando, pero esta vez os traigo dos manicuras, no esta mal no?
Esta semana estamos con el Pecado de la Envidia, y las primeras instrucciones dicen: "¿Quien te gustaría ser? Enséñanoslo recreando el trabajo de otra participante del reto" Estuve mirando por todos los blgs e instagrams de las participantes y me encantó porque todas son unas artistas de uñas increíbles, pero yo ya había escogido "quién quería ser".

This is my own recreation of This Amazing Tutorial made by Spektor's Nails, I have already heard about the term "Nail Art in a bag" but her tutorial helped a lot! Nail Art in a bag is to paint your design first on a plastic bag, the ones that are used for store food on the fridge, and when it's dried you just have to peel it and put it on your nail! Tadaaaa!!! Beatles Nails!!! Also it's a lot more easy because you can put a printed design under the bag and just copy it, just like Spektor's Nails Tutorial. I just used three things: Deliplus 58, white Acrylics and Seche Vite.



Esta es mi recreación de Este Tutorial Increíble hecho por Spektor's Nails, ya había oído el término "Nail art en una bolsa" pero su tutorial me ayudo mucho! Nail Art en una bolsa es pintar tu diseño primero en una bolsa de plástico, de las que se usan para meter comida en el congelador, y cuando se haya secado solo hay que despegarlo y pegarlo en tu uña! Tachaannn!!! Uñas de los Beatles!!! También así es mucho más sencillo porque puedes poner un diseño impreso bajo la bolsa y calcarlo, como en el Tutorial de Spektor's Nails.  Sólo use tres cosas: Deliplus 58, Acrílica Blanca y Seche Vite.

The second prompt for the Envy Nails says: "Let the Green Monster guide you to some enviable nails" so I thought these Lord of the Rings nails I did for a contest where perfect to make everyone envious about them because... I have Lord of the Rings nails!!! (I'm such a LOTR geek...) I hope you like them.



Las segundas instruciones de las manicuras de Envidia dicen: "Dejate guiar por el Monstruo Verde hacia unas uñas realmente envidiables" así que pensé que estas uñas de El Señor de los Anillos que hice para un concurso eran perfectas para hacer que todos estuvieran envidiosos porque... Tengo uñas de El Señor de los Anillos!!! (Soy una friki de ESDLA...) Espero que os gusten.

To make this manicure was hell on earth because one of the "Must do" of the contest was to just use nail polish and not acrylic paints, so it was way harder than usual... I used a ton of different polishes so I will let you the picture of everything I used Here, and if you have a question about a specific colour just leave it on the comments.



Cuando hice esta manicura lo pase regular porque uno de los imprescindibles del concurso era que habia que hacerlo todo con esmaltes, sin acrílicos, así que fue mucho más dificil de lo normal... Utilicé un millon de esmaltes diferentes, así que os dejo Aquí la foto de los materiales y si teneis alguna duda sobre algun color en particular dejadmela en los comentarios.

Esmaltes Purple Professional

Today I bring you a little bit different post, because a new brand of Nail Polish called Purple Professional sent me some polishes to show you, and I am really excited because I loved each one I received!
But first of all I want to talk a little about this brand: Purple Professional is a Portuguese Cosmetic brand that is expanding their business internationally, they care about the environment and make very good quality polishes, let's see it!

Hoy os traigo un post un poco diferente, porque una marca nueva de Esmaltes llamada Purple Professional me ha enviado algunos esmaltes para enseñaros, y estoy muy contenta porque me han encantado cada uno de los que me han mandado!
Pero antes de nada os quiero hablar un pelin de la marca: Purple Professional es una marca de Cosmética Portuguesa que se está expandiendo de forma internacional, se preocuan por el medio ambiente y hacen esmaltes de muy buena calidad, vamos a verlo!

How cute is their packaging? I love they have their bottles decorated with little birds and dragonflies... The package reminds me a lot to Catrice Polishes, if it's not the same... Purple Professional's bottles contain 10 ml of nail polish and their brushes are flat with very good quality fibers.



A que es bonito su packaging? Me encanta que hayan decorado sus botes con pajaritos y libélulas... Los botes me recuerdan mucho a los esmaltes de Catrice, si no son los mismos.. Los esmaltes de Purple Professional contienen 10 ml y sus pinceles son planos y con fibras de buena calidad.

The only two things I would complain about these polishes are that some of their shades are really hard to photograph with accurate colour and that they don't have names, just numbers... This is number 39 an orangish coral colour, even if it looks a little bit pinker on the swatches.



Las dos únicas cosas sobre las que me quejaría de estos esmaltes serían que algunos tonos son muy complicados de fotografiar con con color fiel y que no tienen nombres, sólo números... Este es el número 39, un color coral anaranjado, aunque parezca un poco más rosa en los swatches.

This gorgeous colour is number 44. I have seen it described as a strong bubblegum neon pink, but it seems more neon bright purple to me, mostly when I compare it to the next shade they sent me...



Este color tan bonito es el número 44. Lo he visto descrito como un rosa chicle neón, pero a mi me parece más un morado claro neón, sobre todo cuando se compara con el siguiente tono que me enviaron...

This polish is the number 65, a bright neon pink, or a bubblegum pink in my opinion... It was the sheerest of all, because I used two coats for all the swatches and with this colour you can still see through.
I didn't use topcoat on any of the swatches, all the shine you see on the pictures is from the polish (So shiny on their own!) The formula and application were superb, no issues with bald spots or any kind of problems...



Este esmalte es el número 65, un rosa neón brillante, o en mi opinión un rosa chicle... Es el más transparente de todos, porque usé dos capas en todos los swatches y en este todavía se ve a través.
No utilicé topcoat en ninguno de los swatches, todo el brillo que se ve en las fotos es del esmalte (Son tán brillantes por sí solos!!) La fórmula y aplicación fueron impecables, sin problemas con huecos o ningún tipo de problema...

I'm sorry for the long post but, the first time I saw the three shades together I knew I had to do a neon gradient with them, I am really impatient for summer to come and this manicure helped me through it...



Lo siento por el post tan largo, pero la primera vez que vi los tres colores juntos supe que tenía que hacer un degradado neon con ellos, estoy muy impaciente por que llegue el verano y esta manicura me ayuda a superarlo...

At the top of this post I told you that Purple Professional is a brand that care about the environment, and I said it because the best thing about these polishes is that they are 5 FREE, this means that they don't use the next 5 dangerous substances as ingredients of their polishes:
- Toluene
- Formaldehyde
- Phthalates
- Camphor
- Formaldehyde Resin



Al principio del post os dije que Purple Professional es una marca que se preocupa por el medio ambiente, y lo dije porque lo mejor de estos esmaltes es que son 5FREE, esto significa que no utilizan las siguientes sustancias peligrosas como ingredientes de sus esmaltes:
- Tolueno
- Formaldehido
- Ftalatos
- Camphor
- Resina de Formaldehido

Of course I wanted to finish the review with some nail art, using the neon gradient as the base. To make it I first applied one coat of Flormar 400, because when you want your neon colours to really pop it's better to use a white base underneath. Then I made the gradient with a make up sponge and drew the stars by hand with my Black Sharpie Marker.

Por supuesto tenía que terminar el review con algo de nail art, usando el degradado neon como base. Para hacerlo primero apliqué una capa de Flormar 400, porque cuando quieres que los colores neon resalten es mejor usar una base blanca debajo. Luego hice el degradado con una esponja de maquillaje y dibujé las estrellas a mano con mi Rotulador Negro Permanente.

Seven Deadly Sins Challenge Day 9 and 10: Wrath

Hi Girls!
As I told you yesterday I have been really busy this week and also I started painting my nails for all the challenges I am participating really late, so I'm afraid I have to skip one of the Wrath manicures and make just the first prompt... "Get mad trying, again, that technique you know it's going to be a fail"

Como ya os conté ayer he estado muy ocupada esta semana y también comencé a pintarme las uñas para los retos en los que estoy participando muy tarde, así que me parece que tendré que saltarme una de las manicuras de Ira y hacer sólo las primeras instrucciones... "Enfádate intentando, de nuevo, esa técnica que sabes que va a ser un desastre"

I decided to do a splatter manicure because I knew that a water marble was going to be too much fail for me (I'm not good at facing failure...) The first time I did a splatter was a long time ago, you can see it here. I made it with the straw technique and it was a pain in the ass to do the clean up... This time I was not going to walk through hell again, so I used tape around my fingers and used a toothbrush instead of the straw... result? much less waste of polish, but a more dense splatter look...



Decidí hacer una manicura Splatter perque sabía que un water marble iba a ser demasiado fail para mi (No soy buena afrontando fracasos...) La primera vez que hice un splatter fue hace mucho tiempo, lo podeis ver aquí. Lo hice con la técnica de la pajita y fue una locura para limpiarlo todo... Esta vez no iba a pasar por ese infierno de nuevo, así que utilicé un cepillo de dientes en vez de la pajita y puse celo en mis dedos para protegerlos... resultado? mucho menos gasto de esmalte, pero un look más denso de salpicaduras...

I know lately I am using a lot of China Glaze polishes, but I recently got a bunch of them for a very good price... This is a base of China Glaze Branding Iron, a deep shimmery rusty red (OMG it's stunning!!), and the splatter is made with three polishes of the Romantique Collection, China Glaze Harmony, China Glaze Joy and China Glaze Passion... but all you can see is the golden one (Passion) and it's not because of the picture...



Ya sé que últmamente he estado utilizando muchos esmaltes de China Glaze, pero conseguí hace poco un montón por muy buen precio... Aqui tenemos una base de China Glaze Branding Iron, un rojo avejentado brillante (OMG es precioso!), y el splatter está hecho con tres esmaltes de la colección Romantique, China Glaze Harmony, China Glaze Joy y China Glaze Passion... pero el único que podeis ver es el dorado (Passion) y no es culpa de la foto...

Anyway I liked the overall look because I just can't not like a manicure with that stunning base colour... And I also think that this technique really shows up the anger and Wrath that I was looking for this look.

De todas formas me gusta el look general porque simplemente no puede no gustarme una manicura con ese color base tan bonito... Y también creo que esta técnica refleja muy bien el enfado y la Ira que estaba buscando para este look.

Reto Zodíaco: Géminis

This week is being absolutely crazy! I officially started my final exams and this is taking a lot of time of my free/nail art time... But the true reason for the delay of all the manicures of this week has been that I ran out of nail polish remover and I had to wait until I had time to go to buy some more to paint my nails. Anyway here it is the manicure for the Zodiac Challenge, today the inspiration is Gemini.

Esta semana está siendo de locos! He comenzado oficialmente mis examenes finales y están llevándose gran parte de mi tiempo libre/nail art... Pero la verdadera razón del retraso de las manicuras de esta semana ha sido que me quedé sin quitaesmaltes y he tenido que esperar hasta que he tenido tiempo para ir a comprar más para poder pintarme las uñas. De todas formas aquí teneis la manicura del Reto del Zodíaco, hoy la inspiración es Geminis.

The ones that are born between May 21st and June 20th are under the influence of Gemini, they are supposed to be playful, elegant, intelligent and love family. The colour of this sign is yellow, but I don't think that colours goes well with my skintone, so I decided to use a very bright golden glitter instead, and make a gradient with it. 



Los que han nacido entre el 21 de Mayo y el 20 de Junio están bajo la influencia de Geminis, supuestamente son juguetones, elegantes, inteligentes y amantes de la familia. El color de este signo es el amarillo, pero no creo que este color vaya bien con mi tono de piel, así que he utilizado glitter de un color dorado brillante, y he hecho un degradado con él.

For the two girls I used This Picture as inspiration. I drew the hair and faces without the black lines with acrylic paints and then outlined it and made the small details with the Black Sharpie Marker, I also added Gemini's Signs with it. The polishes I used for this manicure were Flormar 400 for the base and Easy Paris Golden Glitter.

Para las dos chicas he utilizado como inspiración Esta Imagen. Dibujé el pelo y las caras sin las líneas negras con pinturas acrílicas y luego repasé y añadí los detalles cn el Rotulador Indeleble Negro, también dibujé los Signos de Géminis con él. Los esmaltes que he utilizado para esta manicura han sido Flormar 400 para la base y Easy Paris Golden Glitter.

Seven Deadly Sins Challenge Day 8: Sloth

Hi Girls!
I told you a few days ago that I feel very identified with the Sin Gluttony, but if I had to choose a sin it would be Sloth... I'm not proud of it, but I just looove to sleep or spend an entire afternoon just doing nothing!
The prompt for today says: "Create a manicure inspired on your laziness... or whatever... I'm so tired..." And this is how I felt yesterday... I didn't want to paint my nails, so I decided to do something quick and I remembered I had to swatch my new Loreal Confetti topper...



Hola Chicas!
Ya os dije hace unos días que me sentía muy identificada con el Pecado Gula, pero si tuviera que escoger un pecado sería el de la Pereza... No estoy muy orgullosa de ello pero esque me encaaanta dormir o pasar una tarde entera sin hacer absolutamente nada!
Las intrucciones de hoy dicen: " Crea una manicura inspirada en tu vagancia... o lo que sea... estoy demasiado cansada..." Y así es justo como me sentía ayer... No quería pintarme las uñas así que decidí hacer algo rápido y recordé que tenía que swatchear mi nuevo topper Loreal Confetti...

I also decided to do some stamping because it's an easy way to get a full nail design... Lazy me... I know sometimes stamping it's not lazy at all because sometimes it's really hard, but you know I usually make my own drawing with acrylic paints, so this is lazy for me...
To make this manicure I used Claire's 137 as the base and applied two coats of Loreal Confetti on my middle finger and pinky, no need of fishing or placing at all. Then I stamped with China Glaze Magical from the Romantique's Collection with BM-310 on my index finger and with BM-215 on my ring finger.



También decidí hacer algo de estampación porque es una forma fácil de conseguir un diseño de uña completo... que vaga... Ya sé que estampar no es siempre de vagos porque a veces es una tecnica dificil, pero ya sabeis que normalmente yo hago mis propios dibujos con pinturas acrílicas, así que para mí si es que soy una vaga...
Para hacer esta manicura he utilizado Claire's 137 como base y he aplicado dos capas de Loreal Confetti en mi dedo corazón y el meñique, sin necesitar pescar o recolocar los glitters. Luego estampé con China Glaze Magical de la Colección Romantique, con BM-310 en el dedo índice y con BM-215 en el anular.

It took me less that half an hour to make it, and I used Seche Vite on top, so in less than two minutes was completely dried. I hope you liked and that you are enjoying this challenge so far because we have already done half of it!!

Tardé menos de media hora en hacerla, y utilicé Seche Vite encima, así que en menos de dos minutos estaba completamente seca. Espero que os haya gustado y que esteis disfrutando el Reto hasta ahora, porque ya hemos hecho la mitad!!

Seven Deadly Sins Day 7: Sloth

For all of you who follow me on Instagram you already know how today's manicure look, but, as the first Sloth Prompt says: "Don't try too hard but explain everyone how to do something really easy", I promised a tutorial for this design.

Para todos los que me seguís en Instagram ya sabeis cómo es la manicura de hoy, pero, como dice la primera instrucción de la Pereza: "No te esfuerces demasiado pero explicale a todos cómo hacer algo muy sencillo", os prometí un tutorial para este diseño.

I promise it's going to be an easy tutorial because it's made with black sharpie markers. I decided to make a Neon gradient background because here in Spain we are having a great weather, almost like summer, so I was on the mood of wearing bright colours.



Os prometo que va a ser un tutorial sencillo porque está hecho con rotuladores permanentes. Decidí hacer un degradado Neón de fondo porque aquí en España estamos teniendo un tiempo estupendo, casi de verano, así que me sentía de humor para llevar colores brillantes.

It's the first time I use so many colours on a gradient and it turned really well, at first I was a little bit skeptical because I didn't know if my nails were going to be long enough, but they were!
To make the gradient I used the following polishes from tip to top:
- Yes Love Y75
- China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise
- Yes Love Pastel Green
- Ecovital Bright Sunset



Es la primera vez que uso tantos colores en un degradado y ha salido realmente bien, al principio estaba un poco escéptica porque no sabía si mis uñas iban a ser lo suficientemente largas, pero lo fueron!
Para hacer el degradado he utilizado los siguientes esmaltes desde la punta hasta arriba:

- Yes Love Y75
- China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise
- Yes Love Pastel Green
- Ecovital Bright Sunset

I just did the tutorial for one design because the fun part of working with sharpie is that you can do any design you want! And the best thing is that if you make a mistake you can just erase it with a little bit of alcohol without ruining the whole thing!!!
I usually don't plan the designs, I just start drawing lines and filling gaps. Also I think gradient backgrounds are perfect for this kind of manicures, but you can make it with just one colour or stripes...



Sólo he hecho el tutorial para un diseño porque la parte divertida de trabajar con permanente es que se puede hacer cualquier diseño que querais! Y lo mejor de todo es que si os equivocais se puede borrar con un poquito de alcohol sin estropear la manicura de debajo!!!
Normalmente no planeo los diseños, sólo comienzo a dibujar líneas y a rellenar huecos. También creo que los fondos en degradado son perfectos para este tipo de manicuras, pero también lo podeis hacer con un solo color o a rayas...

Seven Deadly Sins Challenge Day 6: Greed

Hi Girls!
The prompt for today's Challenge manicure says: "Remember, More is More... Don't hold yourself back!". I was going to use my BornPretty Studs again because I wasn't very happy with the Manicure I did for the Review, and I followed the Challenge Instructions word by word...

Las intrucciones del Reto para hoy dicen: "Recuerda, Más es Más... No te reprimas!". Iba a usar mis Studs de BornPretty otra vez porque no estaba muy feliz con la Manicura que hice para el Review, y seguí las Instrucciones del Reto palabra por palabra...

 So, instead of doing a little accent to my nails I decided to fill the whole nail with them!! Like an armour!
I started with two coats of Claire's 137 (No name... :(  it's a light mint colour) and then one coat of YSNY 050, a glass flecked topper with pink reflections. Finally I applied the golden studs while it was still wet.



Asi que, en vez de hacer unos pequeños detalles en las uñas decidí llenar la uña completa con ellos!! Como una armadura!
Comencé con dos capas de Claire's 137 (Sin nombre... :( es un color menta claro) y luego una capa de YSNY 050, un topper con flakies que reflejan en rosa. Para termina apliqué los studs dorados mientras estaba aún sin secar.

I wanted the studs to fit my nail perfectly and, as you can see, I made it! I just had to cut them in half with little scissors. They are very easy to cut and I think this is a good way to avoid gaps on the outlines of your nails.



Quería que los studs se ajustaran a mi uña perfectamente y , como podeis ver, lo he conseguido! Sólo tuve que cortarlos por la mitas con unas tijeritas. Son muy fáciles de cortar y creo que es una buena manera de evitar los huevos en los alrededores de las uñas.

I love the colour (I don't know why I don't use it more...) and the texture that the studs give to the look makes it really interesting. I hope you like it too.



Me encanta el color (No sé por qué no lo uso mas...) y la textura que le dan los studs al look lo hacen muy interesante. Espero que os guste a vosotros tambien.

Seven Deadly Sins Challenge Day 5: Greed

I know I'm running a little bit late with this post (I was planning to post it this morning) but I promise you won't be disappointed. This week Sin is not one of the ones I commit usually, although owning more than 150 polishes could be seen by other people like polish-Greed... But if you have a look through my stash you would see that most of my polishes are on the cheap size, no more that 5€, because even my China Glazes (usually 7-8€) were cheaper because they were on sale, or gifts. Also there are some exceptions, like Essie Shine of the Times (8$) or China Glaze Ruby Pumps (7€)... or this beauty I've been keeping secret just for this day of the challenge.

Ya se que voy un pelín tarde con este post (quería haberlo publicado esta mañana) pero os prometo que no os vais a decepcionar. El Pecado de esta semana no es uno que yo cometa habitualmente, aunque teniendo más de 150 esmaltes podría ser visto como Avaricia-esmaltes... Pero si echais un vistazo entre mi colección podreis ver que la mayoria de mis esmaltes están del lado barato, no más de 5€, porque incluso mis China Glazes (normalmente 7-8€) fueron más baratos porque estaban de oferta o eran regalos. También hay algunas excepciones, como Essie Shine of the Times (8$) o China Glaze Ruby Pumps (7€)... o esta preciosidad que he estado manteniendo en secreto solamente para este día del reto.

May I introduce all of you to China Glaze IDK, another polish from the OMG! Collection.
The prompt for today says: "Go wild and use your most expensive and precious polish" This is far from being my most expensive polish because I only paid 1€ for it (WOW YES! JUST 1€!!!) but the polishes from this collection are very rare and expensive on ebay, from 15$ to 60$, so I think this polish is more valuable than every other on my stash... and it's sooooo prettyyy!!!



Os presento al China Glaze IDK, otro esmalte de la Colección OMG!.
Las intrucciones para hoy dicen: "Vuélvete loca y usa tu esmalte más caro y más preciado" Este está bastante lejos de ser mi esmalte más caro porque sólo me costó 1€ (WOW SI! SOLO 1€!!!) pero los esmaltes de esta colección son muy raros y caros en ebay, de 15$ hasta 60$, así que creo que este esmalte es más valioso que cualquier otro que tenga... y es taaaann bonitooooo!!!

This pictures are taken in direct sunlight, and the holo was so amazing that even with my crappy technique photographing holographic polishes you can see the rainbow perfectly...



Las imágenes están tomadas a la luz del sol, y el holo era tan increíble que incluso con mi técnica desastrosa fotografiando esmaltes holográficos podeis ver el arcoiris perfectamente...

I am not going to lie... at first I wanted to do some Lucy Stash's Dandelions, but OMG this girl is amazing and after 4 tries I gave up and decided to go with this bird cage and flying birds... I am loving this look, but I am still frustrated about the dandelions...

Bornpretty Review: 12 Colours Rhinestones Wheel

Today I wanted to show you another product from Born Pretty Store. I have to say that I'm really happy to be reviewing this products because they are things that everyone would like to use but need to try before buying. Today I have the 12 Colours Rhinestones Wheel.

Hoy os quiero enseñar otro producto de Born Pretty Store. Os tengo que decir que estoy muy contenta de estar probando estos productos porque son cosas que todos querríamos usar, pero que necesitamos probar antes de decicir comprarlas. Hoy os traigo la Rueda de Brillantitos en 12 Colores.

As you can see I'm going to have rhinestones for a long long time... The quantity of all the products I have reviewed from BornPretty has been amazing! and this is not an exception. It has a good amount of rhinestones of each colour, and even the clear ones are different from the clear rhinestones they sell (You can see a review here) because they are kind of holographic or iridescent.



Como podeis ver voy a tener brillantes durante mucho mucho tiempo... La cantidad de todos los productos que he probado de BornPretty ha sido increíble! y este no es una exepción. Tiene una buena cantidad de brillantes de cada color, e incluso los transparentes son diferentes de los brillantes transparentes que venden a parte (Podeis ver un review aquí) porque son como holográficos o irisados.

Here you have a comparison between all the colours. With this wheel you will have Red, Yellow, Light Yellow, Green, Navy Blue, Turquoise, Sky Blue, Iridescent Clear, Pink, Violet, Purple and Black. All of them are translucent, except the black ones.



Aquí teneis una comparación entre todos los colores. Con esta rueda tendréis Rojo, Amarillo, Amarillo Claro, Verde, Azul Marino, Turquesa, Celeste, Transparente Irisado, Rosa, Violeta, Morado y Negro. Todos son translúcidos, excepto los negros.

With all those colours I felt that I needed to do something really bright and fun, so I first applied two coats of Yes Love Paste Yellow. When it was completely dried I made the white chevrons with Flormar 400 and the help of pieces of tape. Then I applied one coat of Seche Vite and when it was still wet I stuck the rhinestones following the colours of the rainbow.



Con todos esos colores sentí que tenía que hacer algo verdaderamente llamativo y divertido, así que primero apliqué una capa de Yes Love Pastel Yellow. Cuando estuvo completamente seco hice los triángulos blancos con Flormar 400 y la ayuda de trocos de celo. Luego apliqué una capa de Seche Vite y cuando estaba todavía mojado pegué los brillantes siguiendo los colores del arcoiris.
