Seven Deadly Sins Challenge Day 6: Greed

Hi Girls!
The prompt for today's Challenge manicure says: "Remember, More is More... Don't hold yourself back!". I was going to use my BornPretty Studs again because I wasn't very happy with the Manicure I did for the Review, and I followed the Challenge Instructions word by word...

Las intrucciones del Reto para hoy dicen: "Recuerda, Más es Más... No te reprimas!". Iba a usar mis Studs de BornPretty otra vez porque no estaba muy feliz con la Manicura que hice para el Review, y seguí las Instrucciones del Reto palabra por palabra...

 So, instead of doing a little accent to my nails I decided to fill the whole nail with them!! Like an armour!
I started with two coats of Claire's 137 (No name... :(  it's a light mint colour) and then one coat of YSNY 050, a glass flecked topper with pink reflections. Finally I applied the golden studs while it was still wet.



Asi que, en vez de hacer unos pequeños detalles en las uñas decidí llenar la uña completa con ellos!! Como una armadura!
Comencé con dos capas de Claire's 137 (Sin nombre... :( es un color menta claro) y luego una capa de YSNY 050, un topper con flakies que reflejan en rosa. Para termina apliqué los studs dorados mientras estaba aún sin secar.

I wanted the studs to fit my nail perfectly and, as you can see, I made it! I just had to cut them in half with little scissors. They are very easy to cut and I think this is a good way to avoid gaps on the outlines of your nails.



Quería que los studs se ajustaran a mi uña perfectamente y , como podeis ver, lo he conseguido! Sólo tuve que cortarlos por la mitas con unas tijeritas. Son muy fáciles de cortar y creo que es una buena manera de evitar los huevos en los alrededores de las uñas.

I love the colour (I don't know why I don't use it more...) and the texture that the studs give to the look makes it really interesting. I hope you like it too.



Me encanta el color (No sé por qué no lo uso mas...) y la textura que le dan los studs al look lo hacen muy interesante. Espero que os guste a vosotros tambien.

Reto Loving Cosmetic #2: Love

I'm back! I am really sorry I disappeared without giving any explanations... I just had a rough month and I needed some space... I am ashamed that I couldn't finish the Valentines Challenge, but I am going to finish the Loving Cosmetic Challenge!
This is the last week's manicure, inspired by Love, I decided to show toy what I wore for Valentine's Day, a simple but cute framed manicure...

He vuelto! Siento mucho haber desaparecido sin dar explicaciones... Simplemente he tenido un mes duro y necesitaba un poco de espacio... Es toy muy avergonzada por no haber podido terminar el reto de San Valentín, pero voy a terminar el de Loving Cosmetic!
Esta manicura es la que tocaba la semana pasada, inspirada en el amor, y he decidido enseñaros lo que llevé en San Valentín, una manicure delineada, simple pero mona...

When I thought about this manicure I realized that I don't have any pale pink nail polish!! So I made my own using China Glaze Princess Graze and Yves Rocher Pastel Brillance, then I framed my nails and wrote the word LOVE with dark brown Acrylic Paint.



Cuando pensé en hacer esta manicura me di cuenta de que no tengo ningún esmalte rosa palo!! Así que he hecho el mío propio mezclando China Glaze Princess Graze y Yves Rocher Pastel Brillance, luego delineé mis uñas y escribí la palabra Love con Pintura Acrílica marrón oscuro.

I want to ask you a question, do you like the pictures that I've been uploading lately? The ones with the black background. I've been using my new lightbox, but I'm not really sure if you can really see an improvement on the quality of the photos.



Os quiero hacer una pregunta, os gustan las fotos que he estado subiendo últimamente? Las que tienen el fondo negro. He estado usando mi lightbox nueva, pero no estoy segura de si realmente se nota una mehora en la calidad de las fotos.

Reto Oh Oh Oh! #7 y Winter Holiday Challenge #7: Santa Claus!!

I'm steal dealing with this annoying cold and awful cough, that keeps me awake every night. I'm so tired that I don't know what I'm going to do tonight to keep me awake while I have our Christmas Eve's dinner with my family... Let me give you a piece of advice: stay away from cold feet and hands...
Santa is not coming to my house tonight because here in Spain the gifts are brought by the Three Magic Wizards, on the night of January 5th, but anyway I am going to wear these tonight, in case he wants to skip Spanish traditions...

Todavía estoy aquí aguantando este molesto resfriado y esta horrible tos que me mantiene despierta todas las noches. Estoy tan cansada que no se qué voy a hacer esta noche para mantenerme despierta durante la cena de Nochebuena con mi familia... Dejadme que os de un consejo: manteneos alejados de los pies y manos fríos...
Santa no va a venir esta noche a mi casa porque aquí en España los regalos los traen los Tres Reyes Magos, la noche del 5 de Enero, pero de todas fomas voy a llevarlas así pintadas, por si acaso Santa decide saltarse las tradiciones Españolas...

As the base I used Astor Pop Color 147, the perfect Christmas Red with golden shimmer! On my ring finger I drew Santa's Belt with Deliplus 47 and Yes Love Nail Art Silver Glitter. On the other nails I used my new Viva La Nails Christmas Stickers Sample Pack!!



Para la base utilicé Astor Pop Color 147, el Rojo con Shimmer Dorado perfecto para Navidades! En el dedo anular dibujé el cinturón de Santa con Deliplus 47 y Yes Love Nail Art Silver Glitter. En las otras uñas he utilizado mi nuevo Pack de Muestra de Pegatinas de Navidad de Viva La Nails!!

Half a hour after I applied the stickers they started peeling, but I totally blame Seche Vite for that. We all know that Seche Vite's ingredients behave oddly sometimes, and I think this time they melted the glue a little bit... I hope you liked it!!!



Media hora despues de poner las pegatinas, comenzaron a despegarse, pero le hecho la culpa totalmente al Seche Vite. Todos sabemos que los ingredientes del Seche Vite se comportan de forma rara a veces, y creo que esta vez derritieron el pegamento un poco... Espero que os haya gustado!!!

Square Studs from Born Pretty Store

This is my first collaboration and I am really excited! Three weeks ago I was contacted by Daisy from Born Pretty Store asking me if I wanted to review some products for them, and of course I answered YES!!
They sent me these Square Studs that I was dying to try! And I couldn't be happier with them.

Hoy os traigo mi primera colaboración y estoy muy emocionada! Hace tres semanas, Daisy de Born Pretty Store contactó conmigo para saber si estaría interesada en probar alguno de sus productos, y yo por supuesto dije que SI!
Ellos me mandaron amablemente estas tachuelitas cuadradas que estaba deseando probar! Y no podría estar más contenta con ellas.

They also sent me this cute ring as a gift! I love it and I love how cute it looks in the pictures. The studs I'm wearing are the 2mm ones, I wanted the smallest they have because my nails are very small. They came inside a zipped plastic bag and there were tons of them!!



También me mandaron este anillo tan bonito de regalo extra! Es precioso, y me encanta como queda en las fotos. Las tachuelas son las de 2mm, pedí las más pequeñas que tenían porque mis uñas son muy chiquitinas. Llegaron dentro de una bolsita de plástico con cierre de presión y vienen muchísimos!!

These are just a little amount of what came inside the bag. As you can see the back of the studs is not very flat, but they stick perfectly to the nails without the need of nail glue. To make the manicure I painted two coats of Catrice Sing Oh Champs Elisees and when it was dry I added a coat of Claire's Shimmer Topcoat, then, when it was tacky I placed the studs with an orange stick dipped in clear polish. Finally I added one coat of topcoat to seal everything.



Estos solo son una pequeña parte de todo lo que venía en la bolsa. Como podeis ver, la parte de detras de las tachuelas no es completamente plana, pero se pegan a las uñas perfectamente sin necesidad de pegamento. Para hacer la manicura usé dos capas de Catrice Sing Oh Champs Elisees y cuando estuvo seco añadí una capa de Claire's Shimmer Topcoat, luego, cuando esta capa estaba aún pegajosa, coloqué las tachuelas con la ayuda de un palito de naranjo mojado en esmalte transparente. Terminé con una capa de topcoat para sellarlo todo.

I wore tights the same night and I had no problems with the studs getting stuck with them! Win! And they also lasted a whole week before I had to take them off. I am so in love with these and I am so excited to see what I can do with them. Is there anything you want to see?



La misma noche que me los puse llevé medias y no tuve ningún problema con las tachuelas quedándose enganchadas en las medias! Bien!! Además aguantaron una semana entera en perfecto estado hasta que me los tuve que quitar. Me han encantado y estoy deseando ver que más puedo hacer con ellos. Hay algo en especial que os gustaría ver?

Halloween Challenge #9: Influenced by a Scary Movie

Hi Girls!
This manicure is about a movie I have never seen, The Smiley, but I've seen the trailers and I want to see it!!!! It looks so scary!! and when I saw the incredible Robin Moses had a tutorial to make THIS MANICURE, I needed to do it!!

Esta manicura es sobre una película que nunca he visto, The Smiley, pero de la que he visto trailers y quiero verlaaa!!! Va a dar tanto miedo!! y cuando ví que la increíble Robin Moses tenían un tutorial para hacer ESTA MANICURA, no me pude resistir a hacerla!!

I followed Robin Moses' Tutorial step by step, so If you want a how to... I suggest going to see her video tutorial. I don't have the polishes she used so as the base I used Sinful Colors Let me Go, which gives a green-blue-white shimmer to my own flesh colour and then I created a flesh colour franken with China Glaze Princess Grace, Kiko 323 and a little bit of Bourjois Jaune Trendy, which I used for the accent nail and the frenck tips. Everything else is made with acrylics.



He seguido fielmente todos los pasos del tutorial de Robin Moses, así que si quereis un Cómo se hizo... os recomiendo ver su video tutorial. Yo no tengo los esmaltes que ella usa, así que para la base he usado Sinful Colors Let me go, que le da un shimmer verde-azul-blanco a mi tono de piel y luego creé mi propio franken color carne con China Glaze Princess Grace, Kiko 323 y un poquito de Bourjois Jaune Trendy, que usé para el accent nail y la manicura francesa. Todo lo demás está hecho con pintura acrílica.

I wanted it to look like rotten flesh or even old bone, so I used a matte topcoat (Essence Special Effect Topper Soft Touch). I think it looks great!! I hope you liked it too. Happy Halloween!!!



Quería que pareciera carne estropeada o incluso hueso viejo, así que usé un topcoat mate (Essence Special Effect Topper Soft Touch). Creo que quedó genial!! Espero que os guste también. Feliz Halloween!!!

Esmaltofílicas, El Reto #2: Chevrons

I have to tell that I am really enoying all your lovely comments on the giveaway, and wow! you really have interesting suggestions for me that I will follow for sure. One thing that caught my attention was that one of you said that he/she liked the new green background of my pictures, well is not that I decided to change the background, it's that I have painted my room green! So now, instead of a white wall I have a green one... :)
Well, today is the second day of the Esmaltofílicas Challenge and the theme is Chevrons.

Os tengo que decir que estoy disfrutando mucho con todos vuestros comentarios en el sorteo, y wow! de verdad teneis unas sugerencias muy interesantes que seguro tendré en cuenta. Una cosa que me llamó la atención fue que uno de vosotros dijo que le gustaba mi nuevo fondo verde de las foto, bueno, no es que decidiera cambiar de fondo, sino que he pintado mi cuarto de verde y ahora en vez de verse la pared blanca se ve verde... :) 

Bueno, hoy es el segundo día del Reto de Esmaltofílicas y el tema son Chevrons (Para aquellos que no sepan lo que son os diré que son triángulos o diseños de zig-zag en las uñas)

I used my new Flormar Miracle Colors U18, a deep plum colour with lots of shimmer!! It's really beautiful and shiny, and I decided to add the chevrons with golden glequins. It's not a manicure that I would wear everyday, because it was so elegant with the golden chevrons, but I think it woud be great for a party or a special event.

He usado mi nuevos esmalte de Flormar Miracle Colors U18, un morado ciruela precioso con mucho shimmer!! Es verdaderamente bonito y brillante y decidí añadirle los chevrons con glequins dorados. No es una manicura que llevaria en el día a día, porque con los chevrons dorados quedaba muy elegante, pero creo que quedaría genial para ir de fiesta o a un evento especial.

I am amazed with these Miracle Colors of Flormar, they are all very unique polishes, very bad that they are discontinued... I hope you liked this Chevron Inspired manicure. See you soon!!

Disney Challenge Day 26: La Bella y la Bestia

Hi Girls!
I am again updated with the Disney challenge, I really hope it continues like that.
Today is one of the most beautiful Disney Movies, The Beauty and the Beast. This movie has everything! The drawings are beautiful and the songs are so good! Belle is my favourite Disney Princess because I think she is different, she likes reading, works hard and is a dreamer!

Ya estoy otra vez al día con el reto Disney, y espero que siga así.
Hoy toca una de las películas más bonitas de los Clasicos Disney, La Bella y la Bestia. Esta película tiene de todo! Los dibujos son preciosos y las conciones son muy buenas. Bella siempre ha sido mi Princesa Disney Favorita porque es diferente, le gusta leer, trabaja duro y es una soñadora!

One of the things that I love most from this movie are the glazed windows that show the story in the beginning of the movie, they were so beautiful! I inspired my manicure on this picture.

Una de las cosas que me gustan más de esta peli son las vidrieras que cuentan la historia al principio, son tan bonitas! Me he inspirado en esta imagen para hacer la manicura.

The rose on the accent nail is made reacreatin this amazing "Blue Wave Manicure by Simply Rins" and the other nails are made with the Saran Wrap Technique, that I was dying to try. I first painted a base coat with Essence Frozen Queen, and then with a saran wrap ball dipped on Barry M Denim I dabbed on my nails creating that effect. Finally topcoat and you are ready to go!

La rosa del accent nail está hecha recreando esta increíble "Blue Wave Manicure by Simply Rins" y las otras uñas stán hechas con la técnica del Saran Wrap, que me moría por probar. Primero apliqué una capa de Essence Frozen Queen, y luego con una bola de papel film transparente mojada en Barry M Denim fui dando toquecitos para crear ese efecto. Por último topcoat y esta listo.

Disney Challenge Day 25: Pato Aventuras (Fail!)

You know I'm not used to post my fail manicures, I am so perfectionist that if I make a mistake I start all over again. But today I didn't had time to do so and I kinda like what I made, so I am going to show you anyway...

Ya sabeis que no estoy acostumbrada a subir mis fails al blog, soy tan perfeccionista que cuando cometo un error comienzo todo de nuevo. Pero hoy no tenía tiempo para eso y de alguna forma me gusta lo que ha salido, así que os lo voy a enseñar de todas formas...

Let me introduce you to my "Duck Tales" manicure. It's a big fail because you would never guess that it's inspired by Duck Tales, but it is! The little coloured things on my tips are the hats of each one of them, plus the pink bow of Webbie.

Os presento mi manicura de "Pato Aventuras". Es un gran fail porque nunca diriais que está inspirada en estos dibujitos, pero ¡Si! Las cosas de colores en mis uñas son las gorras de cada uno de ellos, más el lacito de Rosita.

The base colour is one of the new polishes that Anetta Ana Crispis sent me, it's Catrice Sing: Oh, Champs-Élysées from the Ultimate Nudes Collection. It's a beautiful soft pink with a hint of shimmer (that you can guess if you look closer the bottle of the picture).

El color de base es uno de los esmaltes nuevos que me mandó Anetta Ana Crispis, es el Catrice Sing: Oh, Champs-Élysées de la Colección Ultimate Nudes. Es un rosa pálido preciosos con un poco de shimmer (que podeis apreciar si mirais la botella de la foto de cerca).

I said I liked the result because if you don't say that this manicure is inspired on Duck Tales, it could be an abstract french manicure, and I think the bow it's a good idea for girly manicures, and it's so easy to do that I'm sure I will use it again.

He dicho que me gustaba el resultado porque si no digo que la manicura está inspirada en Pato Aventuras, podría ser una manicura francesa abstracta, y creo que el lacito es una buea idea para manicuras monosas, y es tan sencillo de hacer que estoy segura de que lo volveré a usar.
Espero que a pesar de todo os guste un poco ;)

Disney Challenge Day 19: Los Aristogatos

I'm one day late as always... I would have wanted to do one manicure for each of the kittens of the movie, my favourite was Toulouse because he played piano, but I started doing Marie and didn't have time to do the other ones...

Voy un día tarde como siempre... Me hubiera gustado hacer una manicura por cada uno de los gatitos de la película, mi favorito era Toulouse porque tocaba el piano, pero comencé haciendo la de Marie y no me dio tiempo de hacer a los demás...

I drawed her from the back because I wanted the pink bow to be seen. I made a gradient with Claire's Colour Mood Change Mellow/Crazy on top of Yves Rocher Nude and finally added the drawings with acrylic paints as always.

La dibujé de espaldas porque quería que el lazo rosa se viera. Hice un degradado con Claire's Colour Mood Change Mellow/Crazy encima de Yves Rocher Nude y para terminar añadí los dibujos con pintura acrílica, como siempre.

I think I'm going to wear thie manicure for a few days because I love how girly it is, and I'm feeling very girly these days. : 3 I think the paws give it a funny and cute look.

Creo que voy a llevar esta manicura durante algunos días porque me encanta lo mona que  ha quedado, y estos días me siento más moñosa : 3  Creo que las patitas le dan un aire divertido y mono.

Disney Challenge Day 1: Pinocho

Hi girls!
I was blogwalking the other day and I saw that Toxic Vanity, a blogger I LOVE has made a Disney Challenge with all my favourite Disney movies. It's another macro-challenge that starts today and ends in November.
I was going to wait for the Summer Challenge, that keeps me very busy, to end before I start with another challenge, but I couldn't miss this opportunity and I have been weak and have signed in.

El otro día estaba dando una vuelta por vuestros blogs y vi que Toxic Vanity, una blogger que me ENCANTA ha creado un Reto Disney con todas mis pelis de Disney preferidas. Es otro macro-reto que comienza hoy y termina en Noviembre.
Iba a esperar a que el Summer Challenge, que me tiene muy ocupada, terminara antes de comenzar otro reto, pero no podía perder esta oportunidad y he sido débil y me he apuntado.

I wasn't very original with this design because I have seen other challengers that have done something very similar but I loved that my pinocho actually looked like Pinocho!
I took the inspiration from this part of the movie.

No he sido muy original con el diseño, ya que he visto otras compañeras que han hecho cosas muy similares, pero me ha encantado que mi Pinocho ¡realmente se parece a Pinocho!
Saqué la inspiración de esta escena de la película.

It was funny because I couldn't find my baby blue nail polish, so I used acrylic paint instead. So what I used to make this manicure is just acrylics and Essence Glitter Topcoat.

Fue divertido porque no era capaz de encontrar mi pintauñas celeste y tuve que utilizar pintura acrílica, así que para hacer esta manicura sólo he usado acrílicos y el Essence Glitter Topcoat.

Here you can see better how the drawing continues on each nail.
Pinocho wasn't really one of my favourite movies when I was a child because the whale terrified me so much that my parents had to skip that part every time. And they had to to the same when Pinocho burns his finger with the candle... It was so scary!!

Aquí podeis ver como el dibujo se continúa por cada una de las uñas.
Pinocho no fue nunca mi peli de Disney favorita porque la ballena me daba tanto miedo que mis padres tenían que pasar esa parte cada vez que la veíamos. Y lo mismo tenían que hacer en la parte en la que Pinocho se quema el dedo con la vela... !!Me daba mucho miedo!!

Summer Challenge Day 28: Summer Chevrons

Wow! the last post took me so long that now I don't have much time to do this. Just tello you that today is Summer Challenge Summer Chevrons' Day and that is my attempt.

Wow! El último post me tomó tanto tiempo que ahora no tengo tiempo para escribir este. Solo deciros que hoy es el Día de Summer Chevrons para el Summer Challenge y que esto es lo que yo he hecho.

This is inspirated on a manicure that I saw a long time ago on a blog that now I can't remember, but it was in black. For this manicure I used tape and China Glaze Turned Up turquoise, which has become my most favourite polish for summer because is so colorful and fresh. Topped with Essence Glitter Topcoat an Seche Vite.

Esta manicura está inspirada en otra que vi en un blog que ahora no soy capaz de recordar, pero era en negro. Para esta manicura he usado celo y China Glace Turned Up Turquoise, que por cierto se ha convertido en mi color preferido para el verano por ser colorido y fresco. Lleva tambien una capa de Essence Glitter Topcoat y Seche Vite.

Summer Challenge Day 24: Underneath the Stars

I'm back! It has been really weird not to post in two weeks or so... But I had my finals and I was feeling so nervous that made me sick, and I wasn't on the mood to paint my nails. The good news are that I am on HOLIDAYS!!! I don't have to study anymore (until september I'm afraid) and my nails have grown a lot on this two weeks and that makes me want to paint them again! I have waiting for this day because I was dying to do a galaxy mani and "Underneath the stars" seemed the perfect day.
So, here it is, it's not perfect but I like the result, it's colourful.

He vuelto! Ha sido muy extraño no escribir en estas dos semanas... pero tenía los exámenes finales y estaba tan nerviosa que hasta me encontraba mal, y no me apetecía pintarme las uñas. Lo bueno es que ahora estoy DE VACACIONES!!! Ya no tengo que estudiar más (hasta Septiembre, me temo) y mis uñas han crecido bastante estas dos semanas asi que me vuelve a apetecer pintarme las uñas! He estado esperando este día porque me moría por hacer unas Galaxy Nails y el día "Underneath the stars" parecía perfecto.
Bueno, aquí la teneis, no esta perfecta pero me gusta el resultado, es colorido.

Summer Challenge Day 18: Ballooning or Kites

Hi all!! For today I chosed balloons instead of kites. I've always prefered balloons because I sucked fliying kites... I loved this design, but what I love most is the background. Working with gradient and layering I created an amazing bright blue that I love!

Hola a todos!! Para hoy he escogido hacer globos en vez de cometas. Siempre me han gustado más los globos porque era un desastre volando cometas... Me ha encantado este diseño, pero lo que más me ha gustado es el fondo. Trabajando con degradado y layering he conseguido un azul brillante que me encanta!

Today I'm going to show you how I did it instead os just telling what I used.

First I applied two coats of Yes Love Y18, an amazing Baby Blue polish.

 Hoy os voy a enseñar paso a paso cómo lo he hecho, en vez de deciros sólo qué he utilizado.
Primero he aplicado dos capas de Yes Love Y18, un azul bebé precioso.

Then I sponged with Yes Love 529. This colour it's a duochrome, but it's really sheer so, when sponged, it's just a darker blue.

                                ------------------------------------------------------------

 Luego hice un degradado con Yes Love 529. Este color es un duochrome, pero es tan transparente que cuando lo degradas queda sólo un azul más oscuro.

Finally I applied one coat of Sinful Colors Let Me Go, another sheer duochrome that works amazing for layering!

Finalmente utilicé una capa de Sinful Colors Let Me Go, otro duochrome transparente que funciona genial para layering!

And then, with acrilyc paints I draw the balloon and applied Seche Vite.

Y entonces, con pintura acrílica, dibujé el globo y terminé con Seche Vite.
