Reto Loving Cosmetic #2: Love

Hi Girls!
I'm back! I am really sorry I disappeared without giving any explanations... I just had a rough month and I needed some space... I am ashamed that I couldn't finish the Valentines Challenge, but I am going to finish the Loving Cosmetic Challenge!
This is the last week's manicure, inspired by Love, I decided to show toy what I wore for Valentine's Day, a simple but cute framed manicure...



Hola Chicas!
He vuelto! Siento mucho haber desaparecido sin dar explicaciones... Simplemente he tenido un mes duro y necesitaba un poco de espacio... Es toy muy avergonzada por no haber podido terminar el reto de San Valentín, pero voy a terminar el de Loving Cosmetic!
Esta manicura es la que tocaba la semana pasada, inspirada en el amor, y he decidido enseñaros lo que llevé en San Valentín, una manicure delineada, simple pero mona...


When I thought about this manicure I realized that I don't have any pale pink nail polish!! So I made my own using China Glaze Princess Graze and Yves Rocher Pastel Brillance, then I framed my nails and wrote the word LOVE with dark brown Acrylic Paint.



Cuando pensé en hacer esta manicura me di cuenta de que no tengo ningún esmalte rosa palo!! Así que he hecho el mío propio mezclando China Glaze Princess Graze y Yves Rocher Pastel Brillance, luego delineé mis uñas y escribí la palabra Love con Pintura Acrílica marrón oscuro.


I want to ask you a question, do you like the pictures that I've been uploading lately? The ones with the black background. I've been using my new lightbox, but I'm not really sure if you can really see an improvement on the quality of the photos.



Os quiero hacer una pregunta, os gustan las fotos que he estado subiendo últimamente? Las que tienen el fondo negro. He estado usando mi lightbox nueva, pero no estoy segura de si realmente se nota una mehora en la calidad de las fotos.


Well, I am going to be back to normal as soon as possible because I have to show you more Born Pretty Products, new polishes... And I'm going to do a Milestones Giveaway because we have reached 500 followers on the blog, 200 likes on Facebook, 600 on Pinterest and we are going to hit really soon 100.000 visits and 1.500 followers on Instagram!!!! Bueno, voy a volver a la normalidad lo mas pronto posible porque tengo que enseñaros más Productos de Born Pretty, esmaltes nuevos... KIKO Lavish Oriental Collection 400 Steel Grey

Hi everyone!
Finally I have finished anwering all you comments... I'm sorry I lasted so much this time, but I've been really busy and I didn't notice there were so many comments to answer.

This is the second holographic nail polish from the Kiko Lavish Oriental Collection. A charcoal grey linear holo that is opaque in two coats. You can find the first one (399 Silk Taupe) HERE.

Por fin he terminado de responder a todos vuestros comentarios... Siento haber tardado tanto tiempo esta vez, pero he estado realmente ocupada y no me di cuenta de que había tantos comentarios que responder.

Este es el segundo pintauñas holográfico de la Colección Lavish Oriental de Kiko. Un holográfico lineal de color gris carboncillo que queda opaco en dos capas. Podeis encontrar el primero (399 Silk Taupe) AQUÏ.


As you can see the holographic effect is stronger than the nº 399 Silk Taupe effect, and this nail polish has better coberture. If you like one coaters better, you can achieve full opacity with just one thick coat. Application is absolutely perfect, no patches or holes without aqua base.

Como podeis ver el efecto holográfico es más fuerte que el del nº 399 Silk Taupe, y este pintauñas tiene una mejor cobertura. Si os gustan más los que se aplican con solo una capa podeis conseguirlo aplicando una capa más gruesa. La aplicación es absolutamente perfecta, no se crean parches o agujeros si lo usamos sin aqua base.


I like this colour more than 399 Silk Taupe, I don't know why, I think this colour looks better with my skintone.

Este color me gusta más que el 399 Silk Taupe, no sé por qué, creo que este color va mejor con el tono de mi piel.


To make this manicure a little bit more interesting I framed the ring finger with silver hex glitter. As you can see the holo is so strong you can see it even with a topcoat.

Para hacer esta manicura un poco más interesante he enmarcado en dedo corazón con glitters plateados hexagonales. Como podeis ver el holo es tan fuerte que se puede ver incluso con un topcoat.


I liked how the framed looked but I think this technique doesn't look very well on my ring finger because my nail is really curved and you can't really see the hole frame.

Me gustó como quedaba el enmarcado pero creo que esta tecnica no va muy bien con mi dedo corazón porque mi uña es demasiado curva y no se llega a ver el marco completo.


I hope you like hex glitter designs because I am going to make one for each swatch of the Kiko Lavish Oriental Collection. And remember! This is Limited Edition!!

Summer Challenge Day 43: Olimpic Medals

Hi girls!
I know I've skipped a lot of manicures of the summer challenge, but here in Spain we don't follow the Olimpic Games a lot and it doesn't inspire me... And I was busy doing the Disney Challenge too.
Well but for today I have a very simple manicure with a new technique.
It's not my best try, and I will do it again and keep practising. This is an interpretation of the Olimpic Medals and  I wanted to keep it really simple, so I painted one nail Golden, another silver and the third one bronze, just  as the medals, and framed them.

Ya se que me he saltado muchas manicuras del Reto de Verano, pero aquí en España no seguimos demasiado los Juegos Olímpicos y no me inspiran mucho... Y también he estado ocupada con el Disney Challenge.
Bueno, para hoy os traigo na manicura muy simple con una tecnica nueva.
No es mi mejor intento, y lo tengo que intentar de nuevo y seguir practicando. Es una interpretacion de las Medallas Olímpicas y he querido que fuera realmente simple, así que he pintado un dedo en dorado, otro en plateado y el tercero en bronce, como las medallas y las he enmarcado.


I made the frame with acrylic paint in black and a stripping brush, and it was hard for me to make the lines straight and even.

What I used:
Base: China Glaze Champagne Bubbles, Astor Pop Color 145, Deliplus Magnetic nº14 and Deliplus Black
Frame: Black Acrylic Paint
TopCoat: Seche Vite

He hecho el marco con pintura acrílica negra y un pincel delineador, fue complicado hacer las líneas rectas e iguales.

He utilizado:
Base: China Glaze Champagne Bubbles, Astor Pop Color 145, Deliplus Magnetico nº14 y Deliplus Negro
Marco: Pintura acrílica Negra
TopCoat: Seche Vite


This technique is called Framed Nails or Border Nails, and I've always loved it but even it looks so simple it's not simple for me to do it... I have been looking for a tutorial that makes it without brushes but I failed... So I will keep trying and If I figure out a better way to do it I will try to make a tutorial, but from now on I will have to do it with the stripping brush...

Esta técnica se llama Uñas enmarcadas o Uñas delineadas, y siempre me ha gustado, pero aunque parece muy simple no lo es para mi... He estado buscando un tutorial que lo hiciera más sencillo, sin pinceles, pero no lo he conseguido... Así que lo seguiré intentando y si doy con una manera mejor para hacerlas intentaré hacer un tutorial, pero de momento  tendremos  que seguir con los pinceles arriba y abajo...


Even it's not perfect I loved it and I'm planning one only in black and silver because I loved how smooth look the Silver Polish. Don't you think?

Aunque no está perfecta me ha encantado y ya estoy planeando una solo en negro y plata porque me ha encantado lo bonito que queda ese pintauñas. ¿No os parece?
