Reto Oh Oh Oh #8: Regalos

Gracias por vuestro apoyo durante mi enfermedad... (Suena como si me estuviera muriendo) Ya me siento mucho mejor. Tristemente los retos de Navidad ya se están terminando y hoy es uno de los últimos días. Si estabais buscando una manicura de regalos de navidad podeis ver la que hice para el Winter Challenge Aquí, pero hoy  traigo otro tipo de uñas con regalitos navideños.

And you might say... Gifts? I can't see gifts anywhere over here... Well, they are!! One of my Christmas/Birthday Gifts have been the 2012 Bundle Monster set! Which I have been wanting to have since they were released, but for cosmic reasons, I have been not able to buy.



Y podréis decir... Regalos? No veo regalos por ningún lado... Bueno, sí que los hay!! uno de mis Regalos de Navidad/Cumpleaños ha sido el Set del 2012 de Placas de Estampación de Bundle Monster! Las cuales he estado deseando tener desde que las sacaron, pero por razones cósmicas, no he podido comprar.

For this skittle stamping manicure I used two different stamping plates, two gradients and silver holographic glequins.

Index: H&M Miss Stone Heart sponged with Flormar 400
Middle: H&M Miss Stone Heart stamped with the heart design from BM-317 using Easy Paris nº48.
Ring: Flormar 400 sponged with H&M Miss Stone Heart and then stamped with the text design from BM-311.
Pinky: H&M Miss Stone Heart and framed with silver holographic glequins.



Para esta manicura skittle he utilizado dos placas de estampación diferentes, dos degradados y glequins holográficos plateados.

Índice: H&M Miss Stone Heart degradado con Flormar 400
Medio: H&M Miss Stone Heart estampado con el diseño de corazones de la placa BM-317 usando Easy Paris nº48.
Anular: Flormar 400 degradado con H&M Miss Stone Heart y luego estampado con el diseño de texto de la placa BM-311.
Meñique: H&M Miss Stone Heart enmarcado con glequins holográficos plateados.

Winter Holiday Challenge #1: Snowflakes and Snowfall

Hi girls!!!
As I told you the other day I have joined two Christmas Challenges and today is the first day of the Crumpet's Winter Holiday Challenge. The theme is Snowflakes and Snowfall, which is perfect if you have the new Bundle Monster Plates Set (I love the Snowflakes pattern!) but I haven't bought them yet so I had to take a deep breath and freehand some.

Como os conté el otro día estoy participando en dos Retos Navideños y hoy es el primer día del Reto Winter Holiday de The Crumpet. El tema es Copos de Nieve y Nevada, lo que es perfecto si tienes el Nuevo Set de Placas de Bundle Monster (Me encanta el diseño de los copos de nieve!) pero no as he comprado todavía, así que tuve que respirar hondo y dibujar algunos...

I started with a base of H&M Miss Stone Heart and added a coat of Essence Frozen Queen on top to make it more sparkly and then freehanded everything with Acrylic Paint.
I loved the Snowflakes, but they were painful to paint because they need really thin lines, anyway I really like this manicure and I think is the perfect look for winter!



Comencé con una base de H&M Miss Stone Heart y añadí encima una capa de Essence Frozen Queen para hacerlo más brillante y luego lo dibujé todo con Pinturas Acrílicas.
Me encantaron los Copos de Nieve, pero fuero muy complicados de dibujar porque necesitan líneas muy finas, de todas formas me encanta esta manicura y creo que es el mejor look para el invierno!

Esmaltofílicas, El Reto #8: Futurista

Today the theme for the Esmaltofílicas Challenge is Futurist Manicure. I knew what I wanted to do since I first read the challenge, so I searched through the internet for some inspiration and voilá, this is my Futurist Manicure.

Hoy el tema del Reto Esmaltofílicas es Futurista. Ya sabía o que quería hacer desde que leí por primera vez el reto, así que busqué por internet imágenes para inspirarme y voilá, esta es mi Manicura Futurista.

As you can see I have trimmed my nails again, well, I had an accident and used it to make the Zombie Nails Tutorial, so I will post it really soon.



Como podeis ver me he cortado las uñas otra vez, bueno, tuve un pequeño accidente y lo aproveché para hacer el Tutorial de la Manicura Zombie, así que o subiré muy pronto.

To make this circuit manicure I applied one coat of H&M Lady Luck as the base, then I made the circuits with white acrylic paint and finally used YSNY 016 to add some light green details. No topcoat.

Para hacer esta manicura de circuitos apliqué una capa de H&M Lady Luck de base, luego hice los circuitos con pintura acrílica blanca, y por último, use YSNY 016 para añadir algunos detalles en verde claro. Sin topcoat.

My most favourite book of all the times is Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. I read it the first time when I was 11 and now I've read it so many times that I can't count them. I have been  HUGE Harry Potter fan, I didn't had merchandising because I never had money to bought it, but I had my bedroom wall covered in Harry Potter's characters and drawings that I had done. Because of that when I saw This Hedwig Manicure from Coewless Polish, I knew I had to do it! I'm sorry if you are seeing lately a lot of manicures made by other nail art artists but I have the need to try the amazing manicures I see over the internet.

Mi libro favorito de todos los tiempos es claramente Harry Potter y la Piedra Filosofal. Lo leí por primera vez cuando tenía 11 años y ahora ya lo he leído tantas veces que no las puedo ni contar. Yo he sido una GRAN fan de Harry Potter, nunca tuve merchandising porque no tenía dinero para comprarlo, pero mi cuarto estaba cubierto por los persnajes de Harry Potter y por dibijos que hice yo misma. Por todo esto cuando vi Esta Manicura de Hedwig hecha por Coewless Polish supe que tenía que hacerla! Siento mucho que ultimamente esteis viendo por aquí manicuras originales de otros nail artists, pero esque las veo y necesito tenerlas en mis uñas!!

First of all I used two coats of Nagelin White for the base, then I sponged H&M Miss Stone Heart on all the fingers except the middle finger. I sponged it trying to make it look rough, like little feathers or marks. Then I drew Hedwig's face and the black marks with acrylic paints. It was surprisingly easy! So I'm working on another tutorial for you!



Lo primero fue usar dos capas de Nagelin White para la base, luego con la esponja añadí el H&M Miss Stone Heart en todos los dedos excepto en el dedo corazón. Intenté que al darle con la esponja se quedara como manchado, similando las plumas. Luego dibujé la cara de Hedwig y las marcas negras de las plumas con pinturas acrílicas. Fue sorprendentemente sencillo! Así que estoy trabajando en otro tutorial para vosotros!

I am really happy with the result, even knowing that the original manicure is much better with better details... But I think that it really looks like Hedwig and I'm going to cry when I have to remove them...
I really need to buy a good white polish because this one is really gloppy and the brush is really bad, so the application was really painful!



Estoy muy contenta con el resultado, incluso sabiendo que la manicura original está mucho mejor, con mejores detalles... Pero creo que se parece realmente a Hedwig y voy a llorar mucho cuando me la tenga que quitar...
Neesito de verdad comprarme un esmalte blanco porque este está increíblemente espeso y el pincel es realmente malo, así que la aplicación fue un coñazo!!

Halloween Challenge #2: Black Cats

Happy Halloween!
This is the second manicure of the Halloween Challenge. The theme for today is Black cats and I did a design that I am loving so much that I am sure that I will do it with other colours.

Esta es la segunda manicura del Reto de Halloween. El tema de hoy es Gatos Negros y el diseño que he hecho me gusta tanto que estoy segura de que lo repetiré con diferentes colores.

I know it's not a really scary manicure for halloween but this cat looks so cute that I don't mind. I used H&M Miss Stoned Heart as the base and added the paws with black acrylic paint and a dotting tool. The cat is made with acrylic paint in black, grey and white.

Y se que no es una manicura que de mucho miedo para halloween pero el gatito es tan mono que no me importa. He usado H&M Miss Stoned Heart como base y añadí las patitas con pintura acrílica negra y dotting tools. El gato está hecho con pinturas acrílicas negra, gris y blancas.

Disney Challenge Day 22: Tod y Toby

Hi Girls!!
I can't believe I'm late again!! I have been very busy lately I even haven't been sleeping at my house. But I am determined to finish this challenge and that's what I'm going to do! 
Today I bring you The Fox and The Hound manicure. I have seen this movie but not so many times like the other ones, so I don't remember a lot of it.

No me puedo creer que vaya tarde otra vez!! He estado muy ocupada ultimamente, incluso he estado durmiendo fuera de mi casa. Pero estoy absolutamente decidida a acabar este reto y eso es lo que voy a hacer!
Hoy os traigo la manicura de Tod y Toby. He visto esta película, pero no tantas veces como las demás, asi que no recuerdo gran cosa...

I have to make a lot of manicures so I can catch up all my friends from this challenge, so you are going to see some easier manicures like this. As you can see I painted Tod and Toby (the fox and the hound, I don't know who is who...) on my ring finger, the name of the movie on my middle finger and finally paw prints on the others (Simple but cute!)

Tengo que hacer muchas manicuras para poder alcanzar a mis compañeras del reto, asi que vais a ver mas manicuras sencillitas como esta. Como podeis ver he pintado a Tod y Toby (El zorro y el perro, no se quien es quien...) en mi dedo anular, el nombre de la película en mi dedo corazón y finalmente huellas de patitas en los demás (Simple pero mono!)

The polish I used as a base is H&M Lady Luck, a great duochrome. I love the colour of this polish, but the duochrome effect is not very strong. I hope you liked this manicure, tomorrow I will post one of my favourites "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?".

El esmalte que he usado como base es H&M Lady Luck, un duochromo genial. Me encanta el color de este esmalte, pero el efecto duocromo no es muy evidente. Espero que os haya gustado la manicura, mañana subiré una de mis favoritas "¿Quién Engañó a Roger Rabbit?".

Disney Challenge Day 18: Herbie (The Love Bug)

Hi Girls!
This is another Disney movie that I have never seen. Herbie The Love Bug is a Volkswagen Beetle that has a mind of his own and is capable of driving himself. And I tried to draw him!

La peli de hoy es otra de las que no he visto ni habia oido hablar de ellas nunca, hay que ver cuanto estoy aprendiendo con este reto. Herbie The Love Bug es un Volkswagen Escarabajo que tiene consciencia de sí mismo y puede conducirse por sí solo. ¡Y yo he intentado dibujarlo!

My nail is very curved so, it looks a bit odd on the picture, but in real life it's fine. I loved how retro this manicure is with the Beetle just as the only drawing.

Mi uña es tan curvada que el dibujo se ve un poco raro en la foto, pero en la vida real se ve bien. Me encanta lo retro que ha quedado la manicura con el Escarabajo como único dibujo.

This nail polish is amazing, it's called H&M Miss Stone Heart and it's a medium grey with blue undertones. It dries so shiny and creamy that I haven't used any topcoat.

Este esmalte es increíble, se llama H&M Miss Stone Heart y es un gris medio con un tono azulado. Seca tan brillante y cremoso que no he usado topcoat.

Summer Challenge Day 25: Summer Water Marble

Wow! Sometimes manicures go wrong, and this is one of them... I suck at doing water marble, and I was planning to do a dry water marble, but I forgot to prepare it yesterday. The problem is that I don't find good polishes that work fine in water, the polishes that I have just don't spread and they dry too fast. Well, that's why my manicure doesn't look summery at all, I used the only colours that I could.

Wow! A veces las manicuras no salen bien, y esta es una de ellas... El water marble me sale fatal, y por ello quería haber hecho un water marble en seco, pero se me olvidó prepararlo ayer. El problema es que no encuentro pintauñas que funcionen en el agua, los que tengo no se esparcen y secan demasiado rápido. Bueno, por eso mi manicura no es nada veraniega, he usado los colores que he podido.

See? But what I love is that I have finally used one of my new Duochrome nail polishes, H&M Lady Luck. As you can see it's a deep green with hints of blue and yellow.

For this manicure I used:

Lo veis? Pero lo que si que me encanta de esta manicura es que he utilizado uno de mis nuevos pintauñas duochromes, H&M Lady Luck. Como podeis ver es un verde esmeralda con reflejos en azul y amarillo.

Summer Challenge Day 8: Swimming Pool

Today is Summer Challenge Day 8 and the theme is Swimming Pool!!
When I was thinking about what to do this time, I thought the watercolour technique would be perfect!! What's better for a swimming pool than water? So This is my first time trying this technique. I found it really simple to do, but I applied more nail polish than usually because I wanted a better coverage of the colour of the base.

Hoy es el Día 8 del Summer Challenge y el tema de hoy es Piscina!!
Cando estaba todavía pensando qué hacer esta vez, se me ocurrió que la tecnica acuarela sería perfecta!! ¿Qué mejor que el agua para una piscina? Así que esta es mi primera vez utilizando esta técnica. Me ha parecido muy sencilla de hacer, pero he usado más pintura de la normal porque quería que el color de base se cubriera más.

I am very pleased with the result. It really reminds me of a  Swimming pool! I tried to clean up with a little brush but I learned that before trying to learn how to clean the nails properly I need to learn how to paint my nails, because there was so much nail polish on my cuticles (and under them) that I had to rubber the brush really hard, and it wasn't accurate at all, well practice makes perfection...

For this manicure I used:

Base: Yes Love nºY18 (Baby Blue)

Watercolour: 1º H&M No Mambo Jambo, 2º Yes Love nº70, 3º H&M Lady Luck.

Topcoat: Seche Vite

La verdad es que el resultado me ha gustado mucho, me recuerda claramente a una piscina!! He intentado hacer el limpiado con un pincel pequeño, pero he aprendido que antes de intentar aprender a limpiar las uñas bien tengo que aprender a pintarlas bien, porque había tanto pintauñas en mis cutículas (y por debajo) que he tenído que frotar el pincel fuerte y no era nada preciso, bueno, la práctica lleva a la perfección...

Para esta manicura he usado:

Base: Yes Love nºY18 (Baby Blue)

Acuarela: 1º H&M No Mambo Jambo, 2º Yes Love nº70, 3º H&M Lady Luck.

Topcoat: Seche Vite

Summer Challenge Day 1: Torch Starts its Journey

Today is finally the first day of the Summer Challenge!! And the first manicure themed in the Olimpic torch. I didn't want to actually draw the torch, so I have done just the flame, It's a little abstract but It's also more ME. And I love it!!

Hoy es el primer día del Summer Challenge!! Y la primera manicura va sobre la antorcha Olimpica. En realidad no quería dibujar la antorcha y ya está, así que decidí hacer sólo la llama, algo más abstracto pero más de mi estilo. Y me encanta!!

I made a gradient with grey over light gray, and then I drew the flames with a brush.

He hecho un degradao de gris sobre gris claro y dibujé las llamas con un pincel.

Today is Monday, and that means today we have a Monkey See Monkey Do manicure!
Today's manicure is inspired by the amazing Nailasaurus.
I couldn't make the holographic stamp properly, so I used grey instead.

Hola de nuevo!!! Parece mentira, dos posts en menos de una semana!! Será porque por fin estoy saliendo de un resfriado que me ha tenido entrando y saliendo de la cama durante casi dos meses... y estoy de buen humor.

Tenia ya casi olvidada esta manicura, que gustó mucho a todo el que me la vio, y que hice especialmente inspirada en el collar que se puede ver en la foto (que en inglés significa "Érase una vez...").

Hi again!! I can't believe it, two posts in less than a week!! It may be because I've had a cold for nearly two months and I am really happy because it seems that finally I'm getting well.

I've almost forgotten this manicure, everyone that saw it told me that was amazing!! I made it inspired by the necklace that can be seen in the next picture.

El estampado es de la placa BM-225 y siempre me ha recordado al árbol blanco de Minas Tirith de El Señor de los Anillos. Me encanta ese libro y por eso lo identifico con el significado de mi collar. El color que he utilizado es un verde oscuro de H&M del que no estoy muy segura del número, pero fijándome en el número que hay en el cristal de la base del bote, este color sería el nº17.

I've stamped with BM-225 plate. This little tree have always reminded me as the Minas Tirith white tree, from Lord of the Rings. I love that book, and that's why I took this stamp when I was inspired by my necklace. The colour used for the french tips was a dark green from H&M, but I'm not really sure of the number, but if I look in the glass of the bottom of the bottle it should be nº17.

Green Water Marbling

Hola! Soy Helena otra vez!!

Hoy vamos a ver otra técnica llamada Water Marbling que se hace echando pintura de uñas en agua y luego haciendo diferentes diseños con ellas para ponerlos en las uñas. Se pueden hacer infinitos diseños con esta técnica y así es como me quedó a mi:

Today we're going to see another technique called Water Marbling, that is made pouring nail polish in water and then makin designs that go in your nail. You can make infinit desings with this technique and this is mine:

Para hacer esta manicura utilicé el H&M Verde Oscuro nº17 y el Bourjois Lime Catwalk nº38, y después añadí un poco de purpurina dorada de Claire's.

To make this pattern I used H&M Dark Green nº17 and Bourjois Lime Catwalk nº38, and added some golden glitter from Claire's.

H&M Hand Kit

Esta tarde he comprado este pequeño Kit de Cuidado de Manos en H&;M. Viene una crema de manos y una crema especial para uñas y cutículas. Esta set es de Pera y huele muy bien! Me encantan los olores a frutas.

This afternoon I've bought this little Hand Kit from H&M. It has a Hand Cream and a Cuticule and Nail Cream. These creams smell like pear, and I like it very much! I love fruits scents.

Las he probado hoy y me han encantado, la crema de manos se absorbe rapidamente y te deja las manos muy suaves, y la crema de uñas igual. ^^

I've tried them today and I'm very pleased, they make your skin very soft and it doesn't feel sticky. ^^

En H&M podemos encontrar bastantes productos de belleza a buen precio, y de buena calidad. Además suelen ser bastante originales, como hoy, que había un spray de brillantina de frambuesa muy interesante.
