I have already said a few times on this blog that I love the look of decorations over nude nails and a glossy finish like gel manicures, and now that my nails are super short because they are breaking all the time!! this design seemed perfect to try.

Christmas is getting nearer and this challenge is also moving forward and I am liking every day of it! Today I have made a skittle manicure (all nails different but forming a cohesive whole) with my favourite Holiday Colours, white, green, red, golden, silver and black, did I miss any? haha

La Navidad se va acercando y este reto tambien va cogiendo carrerilla y me están gustando cada uno de los días! Hoy he hecho una manicura skittle (todas las uñas diferentes formando un unico conjunto) con mis Colores de Fiesta favoritos, blanco, verde, rojo, dorado, plateado y negro, se me olvida alguno? jaja

The perfect holiday manicure! On my Index Finger I have used a base of China Glaze Holly Day and then topped it with Yes Love Snow Flack 17. The Middle and Ring Fingers have Flormar 310 as the base, but the first one has stripes made with Wynie 302 and BPS Striping Tape; and the second one has different sized dots made with China Glaze Passion. Last, but not least, we have Kiko Starry Black one of the polishes from the Sugar Matt Collection that is an exact dupe for Zoya Pixie Dust Dahlia.

Es la manicura de Navidad perfecta! En mi dedo Índice he utilizado como base China Glaze Holly Day y encima Yes Love Snow Flack 17. Los dedos Corazón y Anular llevan Flormar 310 de base, pero el primero tiene líneas con Wynie 302 y Stipping Tape de BPS; y el segundo puntos de diferentes tamaños hechos con China Glaze Passion. Por último, tenemos Kiko Starry Black, uno de los esmaltes de la Colección Sugar Matt que es un clon exacto de Zoya Pixie Dust Dahlia.

I think my favourite nail is the index, I really like that Yes Love topper and pairing it with Holly Day was a terrific combination! Also I have seen so many times textured polishes used for accent nails and I have never tried it until now, and I think I like it, although texture is not what I really like to feel on my nails...

Creo que mi uña favorita es la ïndice, me encanta ese topper de Yes Love y juntarlo con Holly Day hizo una combinación genial! Además he visto tantas veces los esmaltes con textura como accent nails y nunca lo había intentado hasta ahora, creo que me gusta, aun sabiendo que textura no es lo que más me gusta sentir en las uñas...

Overall I am very happy with how this manicure turned out. What do you think?

What a pleasure to be here in Nailwish! Hello to you! I'm Cristina from Portugal and you can find me at The Clockwise Nail Polish blog. I follow Helena since like... for ever! I can't even number the times her nail art work, creativity and manicures blown me away... I think you understand me quite well lol. So, it was with a lot of excitement that I said yes (!) to be here today :) But then come the issue... what to do?! I took a lot of time to think of something and eventually decided to do what I've been wanting to do for a couple of months: a pastel galaxy nail art.

The trick about pastel galaxies is that there's no glitters to it; it was also a difficult task to choose polishes. I started by painting my nails white with China Glaze Snow (3 coats). After dry the fun begun! Using a piece of a makeup sponge I randomly sponged Kiko 385 Blue Pastello, Elixir Make-Up Nº 62 and Pastel Nº100; I assure you it was a coincidence to use only European polishes hehe :p Next was the stars. Normally here I would use a glitter polish in a traditional galaxy nail art. But as a pastel nail art, I did dots here and there using a dotting tool and China Glaze Snow :)

What do you think?? Do you prefer the traditional galaxies or would you try a pastel one? I assure you I love this version! It stayed in my nails for three days :p I'm now crazy and want to try more pastel shades like purple, pink, yellow, white...! Endless possibilities :p Nail wish readers and Helena, I'm repeating myself but it was a huge pleasure to be here! :D Kisses to you all! :)

SummerNails Challenge 5: Limonada/Lemonade

Hi Everyone!
I hope you all are enjoying your summer (or winter if you are from the other side of the world), my vacations ends today, so I will be arriving home in a few hours and start blogging in real time for tomorrow, well, let's talk about today's manicure. When I started this challenge I didn't notice that there where so many fruity manicures in a row! But I promise this is the last one. Here it is my Lemonade Manicure!

Espero que esteis disfrutando del verano (o del invierno si sois del otro lado del mundo), mi viaje de vacaciones termina hoy, así que llegaré a casa en unas horas y comenzare a bloggear a tiempo real mañana, bueno, vamos a hablar sobre la manicra de hoy. Cuando comencé este reto no me di cuenta de que había tantas manicuras de frutas seguidas! Pero os prometo que esta ya es la última. Aquí teneis mi Manicura de Limonada!

I love how this turned out, the most important thing was that when I started painting my nails I hadn't anything planned as I usually do, I just did what I felt that I liked and I am really proud it turned this pretty... When I see this manicure I immediately feel the need of having some lemonade, lemon ice cream or lemon drops (Like Dumbledore).



Me encanta como salió, lo más importante fue que cuando comencé a pintarme las uñas no tenía nada pensado como normalmente hago, simplemente hice lo que sentía que me iba a gustar y estoy muy orgullosa de que quedara tan bonita... Cuando veo esta manicura enseguida me enta hambre de limonada, helado de limon o caramelos de limón (Como Dumbledore).

To make this manicure I used: Yes Love Y74 as the base and then made a three colour gradient with Yes Love Y74, Yes Love 007 and China Glaze Holly-Day. Finally I added Fimo lemon slices and on the accent nails some green Glequins. Easy and quick!



Para hacer esta manicura utilicé: Yes Love Y74 para la base y luego hice un degradado de tres colores con Yes Love Y74, Yes Love 007 y China Glaze Holly-Day. Para terminar añadí unas rodajas de limón de Fimo y en las accent nails algunos Glequins verdes. Fácil y rápido!

SummerNails Challenge 4: Sandía/Watermelon

This is a programmed post, so I should be sunbathing at the beach right now... But even being at the beach I am sure I am thinking about you all and I don't want you to miss one of the SummerNails Challenge days!! Today the inspiration is another fruit, my favourite fruit, watermelon!!

Este es un post programado, así que ahora mismo deberia estar tomando el sol en la playa... Pero aun estando en la playa estoy segura de que estaré pensando en vosotros y no quiero que os perdais uno de los días de Reto SummerNails!!
Hoy la inspiración es otra fruta, mi fruta favorita, sandía!!

This is a special manicure for me, because it's the first time I make half moon nails! I never tried this design before because to rock the half moons you have to have very regular nails and mine weren't, but now they are better and I think they look great! I used Kiko 402, a pink holo, for the inside of the watermelon, and China Glaze Holly-Day for the watermelon rind. Everything else was made with acrylic paints.



Esta es una manicura especial para mi, porque es la primera vez que hago las uñas en media luna! Nunca he intentado este diseño antes porque para que las medias lunas queden bien hay que tener uñas muy regulares y las mías no lo eran, pero ahora están mejor y creo que quedan genial! He usado Kiko 402, un holo rosa, para la parte de dentro de la sandía, y China Glaze Holly-Day para la cáscara. Todo lo demás está hecho con pinturas acrílicas.

I love how the dulled holo polish (because of the topcoat) gives so much texture to the inside of the watermelon! See you next week with another SummerNails Manicure.



Me encanta como el esmalte holográfico sin el efecto holo (por culpa del topcoat) le da tanta textura a la parte de dentro de la sandía! Nos vemos la semana que viene con otra Manicura de SummerNails.

SummerNails Challenge 1: San Juan

One year ago I started my first Nail Challenge, it was the Crumpet Summer Challenge, and I will always remember it as the one that pushed me to start posting regularly and take care of my blog and my readers, also I think I improved a lot: Here is the first manicure and Here is one of the last ones I did for the Summer Challenge. What a change right? So I decided to join another summer challenge this year to honour that first challenge I did one year ago. This new challenge it's called SummerNails and it's made by Nailistas!

Hace un año que empecé mi primer Reto de Uñas, era el Crumpet Summer Challenge, y siempre lo recordaré como el que me empujó a comenzar a postear de forma regular y a cuidar mi blog y mis lectores, también creo que mejoré mucho: Aquí teneis la primera manicura y Aquí una de las últimas que hice  para el Summer Challenge. Que cambio ¿verdad? Así que he decidido apuntarme a otro reto de verano para en memoria de aquél primer reto que hice hace un año. Este nuevo reto se llama SummerNails y está hecho por Nailistas!

Flames!!! Hahaha! I might have been playing around with Photoshop a little bit to make this picture... Call me nerd, but I think it looks really cool! I know it's not perfect (my hand is too yellow) but it's the most complicated thing I have ever done with photo editing... Anyway this manicure is inspired by the first day of the SummerNails Challenge: San Juan.



Llamas!!! Jajaja! Puede que haya estado jugueteando con el Photoshop un poquito para hacer esta imagen... Llamadme friki, pero creo que queda muy chula! Ya sé que no está perfecta (Mi mano esta demasiado amarilla) pero es lo más complicado que he hecho nunca con edición fotos... De todas formas esta manicura está inspirada en elprimer día del Reto SummerNails: San Juan.

San Juan Night is a Spanish festival where really big fires are lighted on the beaches and people jump over them, dance, eat and drink around them. There's no beach where I live so here it's not very popular, but tonight will be a lot of people celebrating it in other places.



La Noche de San Juan es una fiesta Española donde se encienden grandes hogueras y la gente salta sobre ellas, bailan, comen y beben a su alrededor. No hay playa donde yo vivo, así que aquí no es muy popular, pero esta noche habrá mucha gente celebrándolo en otros sitios.

To create this look is really easy, I made it the same way I did These Nails from the Halloween Challenge, because a lot of people told me they looked like flames. I first used China Glaze Branding Iron as the base and then make layers of brush strokes with the fan brush and acrylic paints, starting with red, then orange, and finally yellow. Finish with topcoat.



Hacer este look es muy sencillo, lo hice de la misma forma que Estas Uñas del Reto de Halloween, porque mucha gente me dijo que parecían llamas. Primero usé China Glaze Branding Iron como base y luego hice capas de pinceladas con el pincel abanico y pinturas acrílicas, comenzando con la roja, luego naranja, y por último amarillo. Terminar con topcoat.

Seven Deadly Sins Challenge Day 13: Pride

Did you enjoy my LOTR manicure? I hope you did!
Pride is the last sin of the Deadly Sins Challenge and I am really sad that this is ending, but I am also happy because this was my first time organising a challenge and, even there were things that I could have done better, I think everyone had a great time! Anyway, this is not the last manicure, so let's enjoy it.

Os gustó mi manicura de ESDLA? Espero que si!
Orgullo es el último pecado del Reto de los Pecados Capitales y estoy muy triste de que se esté acabando, pero también estoy contenta porque ha sido mi primera vez organizando un reto y, aunque ha habido cosas que podrían haber salido mejor, creo que todo el mundo l pasó genial! De todas formas, esta no es la última manicura así que disfrutémosla.

The prompt for the first day of Pride says: "Recreate your own work to make it eve better". I made this prompt thinking about being proud of all we have learnt and improved with time, and I loved doing it! The manicure I have recreated was the Day 4 of the Summer Challenge, where I did an orange manicure with shiny dots over a matte base.



Las instrucciones para el primer día de Orgullo dicen: "Recrea tu propio trabajo para hacerlo aún mejor!. Hice estas instrucciones pensando en que todos estuviéramos orgullosos de lo que hemos aprendido y mejorado con el tiempo, y me ha encantado! La manicura que he recreado ha sido el Día 4 del Summer Challenge, donde hice una manicura naranja con lunares brillantes sobre una base mate.

This is the original picture (it has been less than one year ago!), and even I still think I have lots of things to improve, I can see other things that have gone better. Nail shape and length, cuticle care... Also I think my photography skills are better...



Esta es la foto original (Ha pasado menos de un año!), y aunque creo que todavía tengo muchas cosas que mejorar, se puede ver que otras cosas han mejorado. La forma de las uñas y la longitud, cutículas... También creo que mis fotografías son mejores...

In case you liked this manicure and want to recreate it yourself here it is what I used, it's really easy!
Two coats of China Glaze For Audrey, then one coat of Essence Special Effects Topper Soft Touch (matte Topcoat) and finally, playing with dotting tools in different sizes added the details with Seche Vite.

Dos capas de China Glaze For Audrey, luego una capa de Essence Special Effects Topper Soft Touch (mate Topcoat) y para terminar, jugando con dotting tools de diferentes tamaños añadí los detalles con Seche Vite.

Seven Deadly Sins Challenge Day 9 and 10: Wrath

As I told you yesterday I have been really busy this week and also I started painting my nails for all the challenges I am participating really late, so I'm afraid I have to skip one of the Wrath manicures and make just the first prompt... "Get mad trying, again, that technique you know it's going to be a fail"

Como ya os conté ayer he estado muy ocupada esta semana y también comencé a pintarme las uñas para los retos en los que estoy participando muy tarde, así que me parece que tendré que saltarme una de las manicuras de Ira y hacer sólo las primeras instrucciones... "Enfádate intentando, de nuevo, esa técnica que sabes que va a ser un desastre"

I decided to do a splatter manicure because I knew that a water marble was going to be too much fail for me (I'm not good at facing failure...) The first time I did a splatter was a long time ago, you can see it here. I made it with the straw technique and it was a pain in the ass to do the clean up... This time I was not going to walk through hell again, so I used tape around my fingers and used a toothbrush instead of the straw... result? much less waste of polish, but a more dense splatter look...



Decidí hacer una manicura Splatter perque sabía que un water marble iba a ser demasiado fail para mi (No soy buena afrontando fracasos...) La primera vez que hice un splatter fue hace mucho tiempo, lo podeis ver aquí. Lo hice con la técnica de la pajita y fue una locura para limpiarlo todo... Esta vez no iba a pasar por ese infierno de nuevo, así que utilicé un cepillo de dientes en vez de la pajita y puse celo en mis dedos para protegerlos... resultado? mucho menos gasto de esmalte, pero un look más denso de salpicaduras...

I know lately I am using a lot of China Glaze polishes, but I recently got a bunch of them for a very good price... This is a base of China Glaze Branding Iron, a deep shimmery rusty red (OMG it's stunning!!), and the splatter is made with three polishes of the Romantique Collection, China Glaze Harmony, China Glaze Joy and China Glaze Passion... but all you can see is the golden one (Passion) and it's not because of the picture...



Ya sé que últmamente he estado utilizando muchos esmaltes de China Glaze, pero conseguí hace poco un montón por muy buen precio... Aqui tenemos una base de China Glaze Branding Iron, un rojo avejentado brillante (OMG es precioso!), y el splatter está hecho con tres esmaltes de la colección Romantique, China Glaze Harmony, China Glaze Joy y China Glaze Passion... pero el único que podeis ver es el dorado (Passion) y no es culpa de la foto...

Anyway I liked the overall look because I just can't not like a manicure with that stunning base colour... And I also think that this technique really shows up the anger and Wrath that I was looking for this look.

De todas formas me gusta el look general porque simplemente no puede no gustarme una manicura con ese color base tan bonito... Y también creo que esta técnica refleja muy bien el enfado y la Ira que estaba buscando para este look.

Seven Deadly Sins Challenge Day 8: Sloth

I told you a few days ago that I feel very identified with the Sin Gluttony, but if I had to choose a sin it would be Sloth... I'm not proud of it, but I just looove to sleep or spend an entire afternoon just doing nothing!
The prompt for today says: "Create a manicure inspired on your laziness... or whatever... I'm so tired..." And this is how I felt yesterday... I didn't want to paint my nails, so I decided to do something quick and I remembered I had to swatch my new Loreal Confetti topper...

Ya os dije hace unos días que me sentía muy identificada con el Pecado Gula, pero si tuviera que escoger un pecado sería el de la Pereza... No estoy muy orgullosa de ello pero esque me encaaanta dormir o pasar una tarde entera sin hacer absolutamente nada!
Las intrucciones de hoy dicen: " Crea una manicura inspirada en tu vagancia... o lo que sea... estoy demasiado cansada..." Y así es justo como me sentía ayer... No quería pintarme las uñas así que decidí hacer algo rápido y recordé que tenía que swatchear mi nuevo topper Loreal Confetti...

I also decided to do some stamping because it's an easy way to get a full nail design... Lazy me... I know sometimes stamping it's not lazy at all because sometimes it's really hard, but you know I usually make my own drawing with acrylic paints, so this is lazy for me...
To make this manicure I used Claire's 137 as the base and applied two coats of Loreal Confetti on my middle finger and pinky, no need of fishing or placing at all. Then I stamped with China Glaze Magical from the Romantique's Collection with BM-310 on my index finger and with BM-215 on my ring finger.



También decidí hacer algo de estampación porque es una forma fácil de conseguir un diseño de uña completo... que vaga... Ya sé que estampar no es siempre de vagos porque a veces es una tecnica dificil, pero ya sabeis que normalmente yo hago mis propios dibujos con pinturas acrílicas, así que para mí si es que soy una vaga...
Para hacer esta manicura he utilizado Claire's 137 como base y he aplicado dos capas de Loreal Confetti en mi dedo corazón y el meñique, sin necesitar pescar o recolocar los glitters. Luego estampé con China Glaze Magical de la Colección Romantique, con BM-310 en el dedo índice y con BM-215 en el anular.

It took me less that half an hour to make it, and I used Seche Vite on top, so in less than two minutes was completely dried. I hope you liked and that you are enjoying this challenge so far because we have already done half of it!!

Tardé menos de media hora en hacerla, y utilicé Seche Vite encima, así que en menos de dos minutos estaba completamente seca. Espero que os haya gustado y que esteis disfrutando el Reto hasta ahora, porque ya hemos hecho la mitad!!

Seven Deadly Sins Day 7: Sloth

For all of you who follow me on Instagram you already know how today's manicure look, but, as the first Sloth Prompt says: "Don't try too hard but explain everyone how to do something really easy", I promised a tutorial for this design.

Para todos los que me seguís en Instagram ya sabeis cómo es la manicura de hoy, pero, como dice la primera instrucción de la Pereza: "No te esfuerces demasiado pero explicale a todos cómo hacer algo muy sencillo", os prometí un tutorial para este diseño.

I promise it's going to be an easy tutorial because it's made with black sharpie markers. I decided to make a Neon gradient background because here in Spain we are having a great weather, almost like summer, so I was on the mood of wearing bright colours.



Os prometo que va a ser un tutorial sencillo porque está hecho con rotuladores permanentes. Decidí hacer un degradado Neón de fondo porque aquí en España estamos teniendo un tiempo estupendo, casi de verano, así que me sentía de humor para llevar colores brillantes.

It's the first time I use so many colours on a gradient and it turned really well, at first I was a little bit skeptical because I didn't know if my nails were going to be long enough, but they were!
To make the gradient I used the following polishes from tip to top:
- Yes Love Y75
- China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise
- Yes Love Pastel Green
- Ecovital Bright Sunset



Es la primera vez que uso tantos colores en un degradado y ha salido realmente bien, al principio estaba un poco escéptica porque no sabía si mis uñas iban a ser lo suficientemente largas, pero lo fueron!
Para hacer el degradado he utilizado los siguientes esmaltes desde la punta hasta arriba:

- Yes Love Y75
- China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise
- Yes Love Pastel Green
- Ecovital Bright Sunset

I just did the tutorial for one design because the fun part of working with sharpie is that you can do any design you want! And the best thing is that if you make a mistake you can just erase it with a little bit of alcohol without ruining the whole thing!!!
I usually don't plan the designs, I just start drawing lines and filling gaps. Also I think gradient backgrounds are perfect for this kind of manicures, but you can make it with just one colour or stripes...



Sólo he hecho el tutorial para un diseño porque la parte divertida de trabajar con permanente es que se puede hacer cualquier diseño que querais! Y lo mejor de todo es que si os equivocais se puede borrar con un poquito de alcohol sin estropear la manicura de debajo!!!
Normalmente no planeo los diseños, sólo comienzo a dibujar líneas y a rellenar huecos. También creo que los fondos en degradado son perfectos para este tipo de manicuras, pero también lo podeis hacer con un solo color o a rayas...

Seven Deadly Sins Challenge Day 5: Greed

Hi Girls!!
I know I'm running a little bit late with this post (I was planning to post it this morning) but I promise you won't be disappointed. This week Sin is not one of the ones I commit usually, although owning more than 150 polishes could be seen by other people like polish-Greed... But if you have a look through my stash you would see that most of my polishes are on the cheap size, no more that 5€, because even my China Glazes (usually 7-8€) were cheaper because they were on sale, or gifts. Also there are some exceptions, like Essie Shine of the Times (8$) or China Glaze Ruby Pumps (7€)... or this beauty I've been keeping secret just for this day of the challenge.

Ya se que voy un pelín tarde con este post (quería haberlo publicado esta mañana) pero os prometo que no os vais a decepcionar. El Pecado de esta semana no es uno que yo cometa habitualmente, aunque teniendo más de 150 esmaltes podría ser visto como Avaricia-esmaltes... Pero si echais un vistazo entre mi colección podreis ver que la mayoria de mis esmaltes están del lado barato, no más de 5€, porque incluso mis China Glazes (normalmente 7-8€) fueron más baratos porque estaban de oferta o eran regalos. También hay algunas excepciones, como Essie Shine of the Times (8$) o China Glaze Ruby Pumps (7€)... o esta preciosidad que he estado manteniendo en secreto solamente para este día del reto.

May I introduce all of you to China Glaze IDK, another polish from the OMG! Collection.
The prompt for today says: "Go wild and use your most expensive and precious polish" This is far from being my most expensive polish because I only paid 1€ for it (WOW YES! JUST 1€!!!) but the polishes from this collection are very rare and expensive on ebay, from 15$ to 60$, so I think this polish is more valuable than every other on my stash... and it's sooooo prettyyy!!!



Os presento al China Glaze IDK, otro esmalte de la Colección OMG!.
Las intrucciones para hoy dicen: "Vuélvete loca y usa tu esmalte más caro y más preciado" Este está bastante lejos de ser mi esmalte más caro porque sólo me costó 1€ (WOW SI! SOLO 1€!!!) pero los esmaltes de esta colección son muy raros y caros en ebay, de 15$ hasta 60$, así que creo que este esmalte es más valioso que cualquier otro que tenga... y es taaaann bonitooooo!!!

This pictures are taken in direct sunlight, and the holo was so amazing that even with my crappy technique photographing holographic polishes you can see the rainbow perfectly...



Las imágenes están tomadas a la luz del sol, y el holo era tan increíble que incluso con mi técnica desastrosa fotografiando esmaltes holográficos podeis ver el arcoiris perfectamente...

I am not going to lie... at first I wanted to do some Lucy Stash's Dandelions, but OMG this girl is amazing and after 4 tries I gave up and decided to go with this bird cage and flying birds... I am loving this look, but I am still frustrated about the dandelions...

Seven Deadly Sins Challenge Day 4: Gluttony

Hi girls!
As I said on the first day of this sin, I am a very bad sinner when it comes to Gluttony, that's why I did my Melted Chocolate Nails... Well, to show you that I really am going to start eating healthy (or at least I'm going to try... for a while) I decided to paint my nails with the fruits that I like more ("and make my stomach growl" as the prompt says)

Como os dije el primer día de este pecado, son una muy mala pecadora cuando se refiere a la Gula, por eso hice mis Uñas de Chocolate Derretido... Bueno, para demostraros que voy a comenzar de verdad a comer sano (o por lo menos lo voy a intentar... durante un rato) he decidido pintar mis uñas con las frutas que más me gustan ("y que hacen rugir mi estómago" como dicen las instrucciones)

From Index to Pinkie these are the fruits: Custard Apple, Kiwi, Pomegranate and Avocado. Before you ask, yes, Avocado is a fruit ;) I really like all these fruits and I thought it was funny they were all green except the one I used for the accent nail, which is red.



De Índice a Meñique estas son las frutas: Chirimoya, Kiwi. Granada y Aguacate. Y antes de que preguntéis, sí, el Aguacate es una fruta ;) Me encantan todas estas frutas y pensé que era divertid que todas fueran verdes excepto la que he usado para el accent nail, que es roja.

These nails could also be for the sin Greed, because to make them I used one of my most precious polishes, China Glaze L8R G8R from the Discontinued Collection OMG! I don't own a lot of lemmings, mostly because I can't afford them, but this one was a discovery I made between another CG polishes that were in sale, and If I told you how much I paid for it you will be amazed, but that would be a future post. I'm just going to say that I'm IN LOVE with this green holographic polish...



Estas uñas me hubieran valido también para el pecado de Avaricia, porque para hacerlas he utilizado uno de mis más preciados esmaltes, China Glaze L8R G8R de la Colección OMG! de Edición Limitada. No poseo muchos lemming, mayormente porque no me los puedo permitir, pero este fue un descubrimiento que hice entre otros esmaltes CG que estaban de rebajas, y si os cuento cuanto me costó no os lo creeríais, pero eso será para un post futuro. Sólo voy a decir que estoy ENAMORADA de este esmalte holográfico verde...

To make the different fruits I drew them with acrylic paints in white, black, brown, red and different shades of green. I used one coat of Seche Vite on top, that's why the holographic effect it's not very strong on the background, but I had to do it to protect the nail art, anyway, the holo was still visible under the sun.



Para hacer las diferentes frutas las dibujé con pinturas acrílicas blanca, negra, marrón, roja y diferentes tonos de verde. Utilicé una capa de Seche Vite encima, por eso el efecto holográfico no es muy fuerte en el fondo, pero tuve que hacerlo para proteger el diseño, de todas formas, el holo todavía se podia ver bajo el sol.

China Glaze Flying Dragon

Hi Everyone!
You know I'm not used to do swatches, but until I have some Nail Art to show you I thought it would be good to upload swatches of amazing polishes that I really love, but I think they don't get enough attention when I put Nail Art on top. One of these cases is China Glaze Flying Dragon, a neon purple polish with bright blue micro glitter!

Ya sabeis que yo no suelo hacer swatches, pero hasta que no tenga algo de Nail Art que enseñaros he pensado que sería bueno subir swatches de esmaltes que me encantan, pero que creo que no reciben suficiente atención cuando le pongo Nail Art encima. Uno de estos casos es China Glaze Flying Dragon, un esmalte morado neón con micro glitter azul brillante!

As other China Glaze neon polishes it dries matte, so I applied one coat of Seche Vite to take the pictures. This nail polish was really difficult to photograph, the glitter wouldn't show up on the pictures and the color wasn't nearly accurate! So I'm really sorry but these are the best pictures I could take, and I had to change the colours so they would be closer to the real polish.



Como otros esmaltes neón de China Glaze seca con acabado mate, así que utilicé una capa de Seche Vite para hacer las fotos. Este esmalte fue muy complicado de fotografiar, el glitter no salía en las fotos y el color no se parecía en lo más mínimo! Así que sintiendolo mucho estas son las mejores fotos que pude sacar, y he tenido que retocar el color para que se parecieran más al original.

Here you can see better the bright blue glitter on the nails, it is very subtle if you don't look closer, but it gives an extra sparkle and an "I don't know what" to the polish that makes it one of my favourites and most interesting. It's really opaque, I only needed two coats to achieve full coverage.



Aquí podéis ver mejor  el glitter azul intenso en las uñas, es poco visible si no lo miras de cerca, pero le da un brillo extra y un "no sé qué" al esmalte que lo hace uno de mis favoritos y más interesantes. Es muy opaco, solo he necesitado dos capas para conseguir una cobertura completa.

I hope despite the colour editing and the crappy pictures you have enjoyed this nail polish as much as I do... I think it really deserves a chance, because it's really unique... also it make a good polish for stamping... only if you are quickly as a lightning! because it dries so fast that it wouldn't transfer from the stamp to the nail...

Espero que a pesar de las ediciones de colores y las fotos de mala calidad os haya gustado este esmalte tanto como a mi... Realmente creo que se merece una oportunidad, porque es verdaderamente único... y además es un buen esmalte para estampar... sólo si sois rápidos como un rayo! porque seca tan rápido que no se transferiría del tampón a las uñas...

Reto Loving Cosmetic #2: Love

I'm back! I am really sorry I disappeared without giving any explanations... I just had a rough month and I needed some space... I am ashamed that I couldn't finish the Valentines Challenge, but I am going to finish the Loving Cosmetic Challenge!
This is the last week's manicure, inspired by Love, I decided to show toy what I wore for Valentine's Day, a simple but cute framed manicure...

He vuelto! Siento mucho haber desaparecido sin dar explicaciones... Simplemente he tenido un mes duro y necesitaba un poco de espacio... Es toy muy avergonzada por no haber podido terminar el reto de San Valentín, pero voy a terminar el de Loving Cosmetic!
Esta manicura es la que tocaba la semana pasada, inspirada en el amor, y he decidido enseñaros lo que llevé en San Valentín, una manicure delineada, simple pero mona...

When I thought about this manicure I realized that I don't have any pale pink nail polish!! So I made my own using China Glaze Princess Graze and Yves Rocher Pastel Brillance, then I framed my nails and wrote the word LOVE with dark brown Acrylic Paint.



Cuando pensé en hacer esta manicura me di cuenta de que no tengo ningún esmalte rosa palo!! Así que he hecho el mío propio mezclando China Glaze Princess Graze y Yves Rocher Pastel Brillance, luego delineé mis uñas y escribí la palabra Love con Pintura Acrílica marrón oscuro.

I want to ask you a question, do you like the pictures that I've been uploading lately? The ones with the black background. I've been using my new lightbox, but I'm not really sure if you can really see an improvement on the quality of the photos.



Os quiero hacer una pregunta, os gustan las fotos que he estado subiendo últimamente? Las que tienen el fondo negro. He estado usando mi lightbox nueva, pero no estoy segura de si realmente se nota una mehora en la calidad de las fotos.

Bueno, voy a volver a la normalidad lo mas pronto posible porque tengo que enseñaros más Productos de Born Pretty, esmaltes nuevos... Valentine NAC #3: Kisses

Hi girls!
Sadly I have to say that I'm out of creativity, I am spending hours in front of my nails and all that I try fails... Maybe it's me that I'm a little bit depressed (those days of the month...) but I have to do something for the challenges so... I hope you like my failed Kiss manicure...

Tristemente os tengo que decir que estoy sin ninguna ispiración, le estoy echando un montón de horas a pintarme las uñas y todo lo que intento sale mal.. Tal vez es que estoy un poco depresiva (esos dias del mes...) pero tengo que hacer algo para los retos asi que... espero que os guste mi manicura Kiss fallada...

I tried to do a water marble (you know it's not really my thing...) with Flormar 400 and China Glaze Ruby Pumps. Finally I tried to stamp the kiss of the Bundle Monster Plates (BM-303) but it was so big it didn't fit my nails so I had to draw it myself with white acrylic paint.



He intentado hacer un water marble (ya sabeis que no es lo que mejor se me da...) con Flormar 400 y China Glaze Tuby Pumps. Para terminar quise estampar el beso de las Placas de Bundle Monster (BM-303) pero es tan grande que no me cabía en la uña y me lo he tenido que dibujar yo misma con pintura acrílica blanca.

Also I'm a little bit frustrated because I'm trying to get better pictures with my new lightbox, and, as you can see, I am having some issues with the lighting... I hope I get better with practice... Maybe tomorrow, if I'm on a good mood, I will try again another kiss manicure. Thank You for stopping by!



También estoy un poco frustrada porque estoy intentando sacar mejores fotos con mi nueva lightbox y, como podeis ver, estoy teniendo algunos problemas con la luz...
